A.J. McLean has become a dad.
The Backstreet Boys singer and his wife Rochelle Karidis welcomed daughter Ava Jaymes into the world on Tuesday and the whole family are doing well. "We are all doing well and are thrilled to welcome Ava into the world," A.J. told In Touch.
The singer recently revealed how excited he is about his first Christmas as a father: "Me about to be a father is going to be the best Christmas memory I think I'm ever going to have. We're due any day now and we're so ready for it. I'll probably be changing diapers all over Christmas and I cannot wait. We'll be here in Los Angeles, and my wife's family are flying out. Finally Christmas is going to be at my house. Normally I'd fly back to Orlando to my parents but this year my wife and I have our own Christmas tree. We've got a Nightmare Before Christmas tree, it's not black but it's got all the characters. It's pretty gothic."

Lady Gaga has advised Lindsay Lohan to ignore her critics.
The "Born This Way" singer has praised the 26-year-old star's performance as Elizabeth Taylor in her new movie Liz & Dick, which aired yesterday, and insisted she is a "great" actress.
Writing on her Twitter page, the 26-year-old singer voiced her support for Lindsay's comeback, saying, "You did a beautiful job on 'Liz & Dick', Let no one bring u down, Liz didnt, they always try to knock the greats down a few pegs (sic)."
Lindsay and Lady Gaga have been good friends for some time and enjoyed a slumber party with singer Lana Del Rey at the Chateau Marmont in July where they apparently spent the evening together "watching old movies and playing board games."

Katy Perry and John Mayer are planning to move in together.
The "Firework" singer and the renowned womanizer - who have been dating for four months - want to take the next step in their relationship and have been house-hunting in Los Angeles and aim to find a place before Christmas.
"John and Katy have decided to give it a proper go and want to find a place in LA to share. But lots of people are willing them to fail. They row a bit and have quite a turbulent up-and-down relationship, despite it only being a few months old. Many of her friends are certain it will all end in tears. But that's brought them closer in a way. It's given them an 'us against the world' mentality," a source said.
Sources say the couple - who had a brief split in October before getting back together - are smitten with each other and like to spend every moment they can together.

The "Diamonds" singer - who recently claimed she and Chris are just friends - posted the photograph of the "Don't Wake Me Up" singer lying face down on a bed on her Twitter page after joining the 23-year-old singer on his tour in Germany.
The intimate image - which is reportedly the first time she has ever posted a personal photograph of her on-again/off-again boyfriend - came just days after they were spotted kissing and cuddling at Adagio club in Berlin after his gig.

"Rihanna was supporting him for real though, kissed him a few times and you know... she was all about making Chris feel good and being there for him. She made it all about him and took a back seat, so he could do his thing and let the fans [interact with him]. She knows he's on tour and the club was packed for him, so she was cool with it. Rihanna is loving the tour - she thinks he's performing well and she's showing Chris much love. They left together after the club, they're both enjoying their time together," a source said.

The Beatles legend says his wife Nancy and his fashion designer daughter Stella McCartney act very unnaturally when the handsome Edward Scissorhands actor stops by his house, and even he feels the need to smarten up for his "special guest."
"John - if I can just drop a name there - comes visiting quite a lot. It's cool. I had my daughter and her husband and the kids staying there recently, and my little one Beatrice. I said to them all, 'By the way, Johnny Depp is coming round.' They all perked up - 'Oh yeah?' I said, 'Yeah, he's coming round tomorrow.' That morning I come into breakfast and the first guy coming in is Mary's husband, and I say, 'You look very smart today.' Then Nancy comes in, she's all smartened up - make-up, you know. Normally, everyone bowls in bleary-eyed. Then suddenly they are all laughing at me because I'm in a waistcoat and I've done it too - subconsciously made a real effort. Lil Wayne is taking medication after two seizure-like incidents last month.
The "Lollipop" rapper was taken ill on a flight in October which saw his private jet forced to make an emergency landing in Texas where he was then rushed to hospital and he has reportedly been prescribed drugs to prevent another episode.
According to gossip website TMZ, during a recent interview with MTV, the rapper revealed the new medication was responsible for his profuse sweating. "Please let them know that I have an air unit, but because of the sound, they don't want the air on, so it's super hot in here ... I don't want y'all to think I'm on nothing, man. I'm on seizure medicine. That's all," he said.
