Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan has been asked to pay back part of an appearance fee after turning up late.

The Mean Girls actress was reportedly paid over $50,000 to host a Halloween party at Foxwoods casino in Connecticut on Thursday, but the event organizers are attempting to claim back some of her generous payday because she was more than 90 minutes late and didn't honor the full extent of her duties.

According to TMZ, Lindsay was due to arrive at 10pm local time, but only showed up at 11:43pm. The 27-year-old star also refused to walk the red carpet, where she was expected to pose for photographers and meet with some lucky fans, and went straight inside the venue. Lawyers for the establishment are now hoping to renegotiate their contract with the actress because they feel she didn't uphold their agreement.

However, eyewitnesses say Lindsay and co-host, boxer Floyd Mayweather, did a great job hosting a Halloween costume contest on stage. Floyd, who was reportedly paid the same amount as the Liz & Dick star, also arrived late but made up for his tardiness by meeting with fans, signing autographs and taking photos. Lindsay appeared in fancy dress at the event, styling herself as classic horror character Carrie White from the movie Carrie.

Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-JonesMichael Douglas is back with Catherine Zeta-Jones.

The 69-year-old actor was overheard taking a "very important" call from his wife who called to wish him luck during his red carpet appearance at the premiere of his latest film Last Vegas in New York City on Tuesday. According to sources, Michael - who was also spotted wearing his wedding ring - left reporters waiting as he spoke to Catherine.

"She called to wish him good luck and he said, 'Thanks honey.' The only reason she wasn't by his side is because she didn't want to take attention away from the film. It was Michael's night. She wanted to say hello and didn't realize he was on the carpet already," a source told the New York Daily News' Confidenti@l column.

The couple - who have two children Dylan, 13, and Carys, 10 - took a temporary "break" from their 13-year marriage in August but sources claim Michael openly revealed he had reconciled with Catherine, 44, at an after-party later that evening.

Michael FassbenderMichael Fassbender doesn't think that he's good looking.

The Shame actor suffered with bad hair and skin when he was a teenager and never imagined he would end up as a sex symbol. He told the latest edition of ELLE UK magazine, "I've never really thought of myself as good looking. I think of myself as, you know, alright. I used to have bad acne as a teenager, so all of this is a bonus now, the fact that I don't have pimples any more. And my hair was also, you know, unfortunate. I had really long hair. I mean, I tied it back most of the time, but I had all these frizzy bits coming off the top."

Michael - who claimed he was flattered to be named the eighth sexiest male movie star worldwide in a poll earlier this year - has previously said he knows a lot of girls only talk to him because he is famous: "You become a lot more successful in terms of, like, talking to a girl. She's all of a sudden more interested in me. I know that three years ago, she would've walked away after two sentences left my mouth. I remember I was sitting at this table and I was talking to this girl. I was like, 'God, I am so boring right now.' But she was like, 'That's so interesting!' I was like, 'You know what? Five years ago, this would not have been interesting to you.'"
