Jennie Garth insists she and estranged husband Peter Facinelli still work well as parents.
Peter, 38, filed for divorce last Wednesday, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind the collapse of their 11-year marriage. But, Jennie - who met the Twilight actor on the set of 1996 TV movie An Unfinished Affair - says they are still a good team when it comes to raising daughters Luca, 14, Lola, nine, and five-year-old Fiona. "We are great parents together, so when it's about the kids, it's wonderful. They know the heartache that's behind all of this. They get it. They're doing surprisingly well. We make it very clear to them they don't have to choose sides. They can go wherever they want and be with whom they want."

Russell Brand is "doing well" following his split from Katy Perry.
The British comic filed for divorce from the singer in December after 14 months of marriage, but he insists he is not holding on to any feelings of negativity.
"I'm doing well. You don't need to brush it off if you don't get it on you in the first place. I don't have to let anything go. I don't hold on to anything negative. It's the same as zero-ness. It's not about letting it go. You can't let go of something you don't hold, you know. It's meaningless, [and] much of our world is predicated on meaninglessness. And I don't do that anymore," he said.
Two weeks ago the Arthur star was arrested for allegedly throwing a photographers iPhone through a window and Russell also claimed he is not affected by that incident either: "It's meaningless to me. It's like it never happened. It's meaningless."

Jennie Garth Didn’t Want Divorce from Peter

Jennie Garth was horrified when Peter Facinelli asked her for a divorce.
The Twilight actor recently filed papers at Los Angeles County Superior Court to dissolve his 11-year union with the former Beverly Hills 90210 actress, but Jennie admitted she was "resistant" when Peter first suggested they should split.
"I was very resistant. I didn't want it to happen. It took me some time to come to peace with it. I've gone through my darkest parts and I'm coming out of it. I'm OK. I don't know what the future holds, but then I've never been a planner. And maybe that's a good thing," she told People.
Jennie - who lives in California with her three daughters Luca, 14, Lola, nine, and five-year-old Fiona with Peter - blames his work commitments including filming the Twilight Saga in Vancouver and Nurse Jackie in New York for causing the breakdown of their marriage.
"He would do everything he could to fly back every weekend. [But] it took a real toll on our marriage."

Peter Facinelli Files for Divorce

Peter Facinelli has filed for divorce from Jennie Garth.
The couple announced earlier this month they had split after 11 years of marriage but the Twilight Saga actor has now started official proceedings to dissolve their union. According to the documents, which have been filed at Los Angeles County Superior Court and obtained by gossip website TMZ, Peter has cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. He is also seeking joint physical and legal custody of the couple's daughters Luca, 14, Lola, nine, and five-year-old Fiona. The documents list the separation date as January 1 2012.
Jennie simultaneously filed her response to the divorce petition, also asking for joint legal and physical custody of the children. She also requested to have her name legally changed from Jennifer Facinelli back to Jennifer Garth.
Peter and Jennie - who first met on the set of TV movie An Unfinished Affair in 1996 and married five years later - announced the end of their marriage in a statement earlier this month.

Russell Brand has had his matching tattoo with estranged wife Katy Perry '"permanently removed."
The British comedian and the "Part of Me" hitmaker opted for identical Sanskrit inkings on the inside of their right arms, which meant "go with the flow," shortly after they got engaged in 2010. However, after Russell filed for divorce in December after just 14 months of marriage, he has since decided to have the etching removed for good.
Visiting Hollywood's Shamrock Tattoo studio in the early hours of Saturday morning alongside his new girlfriend Nikolett Barabas, the Forgetting Sarah Marshall star opted for the permanent removal of the inking, Hollywood Life reports.
Despite Russell's relatively recent split from Katy, his new love has already been gushing about their fledging romance.

Kim Kardashian has been flour-bombed on the red carpet.
The 31-year-old reality star was promoting her new fragrance True Refection at The London Hotel in West Hollywood on Thursday night when an unidentified woman pelted her with white powder.
Dressed in a black blazer, leather trousers and an electric blue blouse, Kim's hair and entire back were covered by what firefighters later found to be cooking powder. According to TMZ.com, security guards took her to a private room where she brushed herself down before choosing to return to the event.
"That probably is the craziest, unexpected, weird thing that ever happened to me. Like I said to my makeup artist, I wanted more powder and that's a whole lot of translucent powder right there," Kim told E! News.
But little sister Khloe, 27, does not find the incident quite so funny. "I wish I was with my sister tonight. I bet you that woman wouldn't have dared tried a thing ...," she wrote on her Twitter.

Kris Humphries has hit out at people who "do things just for money."
The basketball player's reality TV star wife Kim Kardashian filed for divorce last year just 72 days after their lavish nuptials and although detractors have claimed they married for money, in what could be perceived as slight at Kim, Kris insists he is a "genuine" person.
"I am a genuine person who says it like it is. I only like to be involved with things I truly believe in. It's the kind of person I am. A lot of people do things just for money, but that's not for me. I'm used to [negativity]. I'm comfortable being in my own skin and being out there," he told Life&Style.
Meanwhile, Kris, 27, says he is moving on from his failed marriage by attempting to inject some fun into his life: "I'm really just going with the flow right now, trying to have fun in life. I just want people to see the lighter side to me. Life is too serious sometimes - people take things too seriously. I think everyone should be able to make fun of themselves and just have fun."

Kris Humphries is planning to "set the record straight" about his marriage to Kim Kardashian.
The NBA player has responded to claims he is seeking a $7 million settlement from the reality star despite having signed a pre-nuptial agreement that entitles him to nothing.
"No demands have been made. While we are encouraged to see an apparent willingness by the other side to put big numbers out in an attempt to settle Mr. Humphries' claims, we respect and will continue to observe the integrity of the legal process. One thing is certain: Kris Humphries intends to set the record straight," his lawyers said in a statement.
Meanwhile, his legal team has vowed to give Kris his day in court. "Much effort and energy to misdirect the public's perception of what transpired between Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries has taken place over the past several months. This case will not be resolved in the court of public opinion amidst ridiculous and defamatory allegations and personal attacks directed against Kris Humphries. Rather, this case will be appropriately investigated and litigated professionally and with integrity," the statement continued.

Kim Kardashian still feels married.
The 31-year-old reality star filed for divorce from NBA player Kris Humphries after just 72-days of marriage in October, but insists she hasn't put herself back on the market.
Addressing rumors she has been hooking up with long-time friend Kanye West, she said, "I think I'm still married. I'm really not dating right now at all. I'm really just focusing on work. I know I always say this, but I'm trying to just get through my situation and just have fun."
Mad Men actor Jon Hamm recently took aim at Kim and fellow socialite Paris Hilton as part of a rant about Hollywood celebrity culture - but Kim is adamant did not take his comments personally. Appearing on Ryan Seacrest's radio show, she said, "I respect Jon and I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, not everyone takes the same path in life. We're all working hard and we all have to respect one another. I just feel like, to be honest, it's all about trying to stay focused and keeping everything positive. It really takes a lot more energy and effort to be harsh than to say something nice and be positive."

The Glee actress has an on/off relationship with actor Sebastian Stan, but NFL player Tim - who has previously been linked to Katy Perry and Taylor Swift - is said to be smitten with her.
