Russell Brand has reportedly emailed estranged wife Katy Perry, asking for a second chance at their relationship. The 36-year-old comedian and actor - who filed for divorce from Katy in December 2011 after 14 months of marriage - is said to have changed his mind after seeing photos her at Coachella Festival last month.
The 27-year-old "Part of Me" singer was spotted being affectionate with Robert Ackroyd from music group Florence + the Machine as they watched acts on stage.
According to Grazia, Russell was prompted to admit that he "gave up" on his relationship too quickly after seeing the display and he stated he believes that parting ways was a "mistake."
"Word has it Russell was 'seething with jealousy' when he saw pictures of her with Rob. He apparently feels he gave up on their relationship too easily," a source told the publication. "It's fair to say that Russell only wishes Katy happiness but perhaps he should have realized just how special his wife was when he was married to her rather than five months later," the source added.

Kim Kardashian's lawyer says Kris Humphries' hurt feelings are delaying the couple's divorce. Kim filed legal papers in October to end their union after only 72 days of marriage and while she wants a divorce, Kris is seeking an annulment, with his lawyers asking for more time to gather information to decide whether to pursue allegations that the couple's marriage was a fraud.
However, the reality TV star's attorney Laura Wasser said they are eligible for a divorce since it has been more than six months since Kim filed her petition. "I feel that (Humphries') personal feelings and maybe some media drive is keeping this case alive. Certainly, they've been separated longer than they've been married," she said in court today.
The estranged pair are currently each footing their own legal fees but Ms. Wasser warned if the case goes to trial and Kim wins, she will ask that Kris pay her hefty expenses. Superior Court Judge Stephen Moloney told both sides to return to court on August 15 for a status hearing.

Debra Messing has spoken for the first time about her marriage breakdown. The former Will and Grace star and her producer husband Daniel Zelman announced their 11-year marriage was over last December, bringing an end to a relationship that began in 1990 when they met at college.
The split coincided with Debra - who has a seven-year-old son Roman with Daniel - relocating from Los Angeles to New York to shoot new TV show Smash, and she admits the amount of changes in her life were tough for her to deal with.
"It's like 20 years. It's a very long time. When I say the move to New York was traumatic, it was traumatic because every aspect of my life was going through a huge change," she said in an interview in the June issue Ladies' Home Journal magazine.
Although when Debra said her vows she thought she was marrying for life, she thinks the concept of marriage is becoming outdated because of changes in modern society: "I think the idea of a partner for life is incredibly romantic. But now we're living to 100. A hundred years ago people were dying at age 37. Till death do us part was a much different deal."

Martin Lawrence has filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences." The Bad Boys actor submitted the documents in Los Angeles County Superior Court just one day after they announced their separation last week.
Martin and his wife Shamicka got married on July 10, 2010 inside their Beverly Hills home, having been together for 15 years prior. They have two children, 11-year-old Iyanna and nine-year-old Amara Trinity.
According to TMZ.com, Martin wants joint physical and legal custody of the kids. The publication also reports that there is a prenuptial agreement between the pair. The Lawrences' representative said at the time of their parting ways, "Martin and Shamicka Lawrence have decided to divorce. The couple has made the joint decision to part ways."
They released a joint statement, saying, "Out of love and respect for one another, we will continue to remain friends and raise our two beautiful daughters together."

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Won’t Fight Over Kids

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony will not have a custody battle over their twins.
The couple split last July after seven years of marriage, but they are keen to make the divorce as amicable as possible for the sake of four-year-old twins Max and Emme, as their welfare and happiness is the most important thing to them.
"The parties are working together to reach a friendly resolution that's in the best interest of their children," Jennifer's lawyer Ron Anteau told People.
Sources also say Marc doesn't want any financial support from Jennifer, who is now dating dancer Casper Smart. "He's not seeking financial support from her in this divorce. This is about trying to figure out how best for two very busy parents to share their children," one insider said.
Earlier this month, Marc filed for divorce from Jennifer, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.

Mena Suvari says all her exes end up hating her.
The American Reunion star - who split from her second husband, concert promoter Simone Sestito, in January - admits she isn't on good terms with her former lovers and has never rekindled a relationship. Mena - whose character Heather in the comedy movie falls in love again with her first boyfriend Oz (Chris Klein) - said, "I've never run into an ex who I have fallen back in love with. They all end up hating me. I just keep moving on. I don't like going back, I think that's unhealthy."
Since ending her marriage to Simone, the 33 year-old actress - whose five-year union to first husband cinematographer Robert Brinkmann ended in 2005 - is content to be single for the moment. Mena says any new man in her life will have to support her in everything she does.
"I'm very happy (being single). I mean, I definitely accept my path and what's important to me is staying true to myself and who I am, and being happy. I feel I've got to a place in my life where I'm happy - I'm the main focus and that feels good. If a new guy was to happen he'd have to compliment me, instead of taking away from me."

Britney Spears' failed marriage to Kevin Federline has inspired an erotic book written by his aunt. Diane Story has used the pair's two-year union as the basis for her novel Pop Baby Krissy Doucet, which follows the romance between Keenan Fazio and Krissy Doucet.

Demi Moore has returned to Twitter after a three-month break.
The 49-year-old actress continues to Tweet under her married name @mrskutcher and posted a picture of herself lying on a bed with the caption "Testing...." Demi had previously been a prolific user of Twitter, but this is the first time since January 7 she has used the social networking site, when she Tweeted Harper's Bazaar magazine for "supporting" her.
Last month, the Indecent Proposal actress left Utah's Cirque Lodge clinic - where she was receiving treatment for "an eating disorder and addiction issues" - and is said to now be in a "much better place."
"Demi is in a much better place. She has been working on herself a lot. She is content. Demi feels great and she is eager to get back to work. She has been focusing on her health in the last month and she's getting better every day," a source said at the time.

Jennie Garth admits she was shocked when her divorce from Peter Facinelli became a reality.
After months of fighting to save their 11-year marriage, Peter 38, filed for divorce in March, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind the split. But despite knowing it was coming, Jennie, 39, says the end still took her by surprise.
"[It] was something we were working through together. As anybody who's been through it, it's always kind of shocking when it ends up finally happening. It was sad for our family unit," she said.
The former Beverly Hills 90210 star is currently promoting her new reality show Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country - which centers around life on her farm with daughters Luca, 14, Lola, nine, and Fiona, five - and has found it impossible to avoid questions about the divorce.

Katy Perry wants to give her relationship with Russell Brand another go. The former couple ended their 14-month marriage in December when Russell filed for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences" - but Katy, 27, has reportedly had a change of heart.
"Katy's been trying to get him back! She's a lost soul right now," a source said.
Russell, 36, has since moved on with model Nikolett Barabas, while Katy has been linked to Chanel star Baptiste Giabiconi. But according to US Weekly, a recent trip to India - where she tied the knot with the Arthur actor in October 2010 - made her realize what she had lost.
"She'd already been missing Russell. Being back there stirred up even more old feelings," the insider added.
However, a reunion may be a long way off with the pair still "trying to get to the point where they can at least be friends."
