Adam Miller, who claims to have been engaged to Gosselin before she struck up her romance with hubby Jon, says of his almost-wife “she was always chasing the money.”

He says their relationship ended when Kate enjoyed the attentions of another man. “She hooked up with some guy in a Corvette,” he told Star magazine.

The leap from reality TV success to tabloid fodder is really more of a baby step for some.
