Glee Going Broadway?

Like the rest of the world, 20th Century Fox has fallen in love with Glee co-creator and writer Ryan Murphy. The studio has given Murphy a four-year contract, and he’ll be doing more than creating new episodes of Glee and raking in TV ratings for the duration. The contract also includes an option to create a Broadway show based upon the series, and offers are flying at him from every direction.
Amy Pascal, of Sony, says she’ll “do anything Ryan wants” in order to get the show going. Gossip says that Murphy is also in consideration to direct a film version of Wicked, the successful Broadway play which was adapted from the book.
Glee took the world by storm when it premiered on FOX last year, sparking several top-selling albums and massive fan culture.
