Jennifer Lawrence is battling pneumonia. The Silver Linings Playbook star - who is nominated for Best Actress at the Oscars next month - was forced to cancel several planned appearances in Los Angeles this week, including at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards, because she is extremely ill.
Her co-star Jacki Weaver accepted the award for Best Actress at the event on Saturday, saying, "I am going to accept this award on behalf of Jennifer. She really wishes she could be here, but she is very ill."
Jacki then clarified that the 22-year-old The Hunger Games star is being treated for the lung infection: ''She has pneumonia."
One guest at the event told the New York Daily News, "Everyone was shell-shocked at what Jacki said. With these ceremonies, when people claim to be ill sometimes there is doubt about how unwell someone really is."

Kelly Osbourne Is Proud of Adele and Robert Pattinson

Kelly Osbourne is "so proud" of Adele and Robert Pattinson.
The Fashion Police host is friends with both stars and thinks they set a great example to the rest of the UK: "I know Adele from years back and I've hung out with Robert Pattinson in London since I was 19. It makes me so proud of my country that they're all doing so well. Rob was at the Soho House party in LA [after the Golden Globes], and the last time I saw him there, his friend was stealing the toilet roll. Everyone was so happy that Adele won Best Original Song [at the Golden Globes]. Adele is so well-loved. When she hit the red carpet, everyone's mouths dropped - her skin is glowing. I need to get her baby boy present."
Kelly enjoyed working at the Golden Globes in her capacity as a host on Fashion Police, but still managed to take time out to chat with her friends. "The best moment was after Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom wowed on the red carpet - they asked my boyfriend Matthew [Mosshart] for a lighter. I know Orlando, so we sat down and had a cigarette and a chat."

Burt Reynolds is being moved out of intensive care after being struck by a virulent flu bug.
The Smokey and the Bandit actor - who has been battling the illness for days and was ordered by doctors in Florida to seek urgent treatment for "severe dehydration" - is said to be on the road to recovery after his fever finally broke on Saturday morning. A spokesperson for the 76-year-old actor told gossip website TMZ.com that he is being moved out of the ICU and his family are thrilled that his temperature is back to normal after his condition was said to be "touch and go" earlier in the week.
The Boogie Nights star was hospitalized on Friday.
Burt previously had a quintuple heart bypass in 2010, and also had to undergo a month of rehab in 2009 for addiction to prescription drugs.

Khloe Kardashian's ex-stepmother has branded her a liar.
Ellen Kardashian - who was married to The X Factor host's father Robert before his death from cancer in 2003 - claims the 28-year-old reality TV star, her brother Rob, 25, and her older sisters Kim, 32, and Kourtney, 33, weren't close to their father before his death and dismissed their accusations that she married him on his "deathbed."
"I was with Robert for almost five years total. I dated him for three years, and he proposed to me in 2001. We married two months prior to his passing in 2003 and planned a wedding -- we didn't just run right out and get married. In fact, I met with the girls just the week before to go over all our plans. We had a beautiful wedding with the girls and all of his family at our home. It's sad they choose to lie when they know their father was so happy on that wonderful day. I have nothing to hide. I have not belittled them or chastised them or said shameful things about them. If this was about money, I would have done this nine years ago, because I'm not the one who was left the insurance policy," she said.

Justin Bieber Accused of Assault?

Justin Bieber is being investigated for possible assault with a toy. The "As Long As You Love Me" singer has been accused of hitting a female security guard at a concert venue he was performing at in Ottawa, Canada in November, with a projectile from a child friendly nerf gun.
A source told gossip website TMZ.com that the 18-year-old Canadian popstar was play fighting with nerf guns with his three-year-old brother Jaxon and four-year-old sister Jazmyn, when one of their soft pieces of ammunition hit the woman. The woman allegedly became hysterical and told Justin's team that she was a security guard at the venue and was extremely annoyed. She then filed a police report accusing Justin or someone who was adjacent to the singer of assaulting her.
Police are said to be investigating the incident and have interviewed several people at the venue.

Drew Barrymore turned to Steven Spielberg for advice to protect her daughter from the paparazzi.
The 37-year-old actress - who gave birth to her first child Olive last September - is struggling to deal with the attention she has had since becoming a mum and she said her famous movie director godfather and husband Will Kopelman have given her excellent advice to deal with photographers.
"Unless I was to move underground with no windows, there's no way to avoid this, so I thought about the people that I look up to... People who have grace and they seem happy and they give us an example of how to behave. I talked to my husband... He's someone I think about when I think about that kind of person; I talk to his family, who I love. I talk to my godfather Steven Spielberg.''

While Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have successfully reconciled following Stewart's affair with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, the same cannot be said for Sanders and his wife Liberty Ross, as she has just filed for divorce in Los Angeles.
Sanders and Ross have two children together - both filed for joint custody for the pair, and Rupert is said to have asked to split the court costs.
The couple, who have been married for nine years, are rumored to have tried to patch up their relationship through couples therapy. "It was Rupert's suggestion that he go to therapy with Liberty. He will do anything to save his marriage because he loves his wife and knows he screwed up. Taylor Swift doesn't have a specific type.
The 23-year-old singer has dated a host of celebrities including Jake Gyllenhaal, Joe Jonas, Harry Styles and John Mayer but Taylor says she doesn't know what attracts her to certain men. "I don't really think too hard about what people think or why you should like someone. I think in 20s we're just like, 'Oh, I'll try hanging out with him' or 'I'll try being single.' You're kind of all over the place. We're crazy. We're in our 20s," she said.
Taylor also revealed she wrote the song "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" - which is widely believed to be about her relationship with End of Watch star Jake - to remind herself not to take him back. "Once a relationship's done, it's done. I think that ["We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together"] kinda says it. Maybe I wrote that song so I would never get back in that relationship. Because once you write that about it, there's no way you're getting back together," she explained.
