The Backstreet Boys singer proposed to his girlfriend of four years Lauren Kitt, in the Florida Keys with a seven-carat diamond ring from XIV KARATS on Wednesday and admitted he was desperate to pop the question.
Nick, 33, told People, "I was like, 'I don't want [the ring] anymore!' It was driving me insane. I just wanted to get it out of my hands and on to hers. She said, 'Yes,' and I'm, like, 'I don't know what to do. She said, 'You're supposed to put it on my finger.' So I did. I was in shock."
Fitness expert/actress Lauren, 29, admitted she was shocked by the proposal and acknowledged wedding dates will have to be worked around the upcoming Backstreet Boys tour: "I wasn't expecting it. It just felt very surreal. We both are just so happy in love right now and on cloud nine. Our first thought was, 'We need to contact the Backstreet Boys and find out when their schedule will permit.' It's not up to us. It's up to the schedule. We're just excited and looking forward to the next chapter of our lives."

Justin Bieber's new love interest has been revealed as aspiring singer Ella-Paige Roberts-Clarke.
The 18-year-old heartthrob - who recently split from Selena Gomez - was spotted enjoying Justin Timberlake's London show on Wednesday with the 17-year-old brunette and friends have revealed she is desperate for fame. "Since she was at school she always wanted to be famous. The weird thing is she has worked so hard but just being seen with Justin Bieber is probably going to make her career," a source said.
Justin and Ella-Paige arrived at the exclusive one-off concert at the HMV Forum in Kentish Town, north London, separately, which Justin's mother Pattie Mallette also attended. The "Baby" hitmaker was flanked by security guards and perched himself on the celebrity-packed upper tier balcony, where he appeared to be enthralled by Timberlake and sang along to his 2006 song "Until the End of Time."

Demi Lovato has rekindled her romance with Wilmer Valderrama for the third time.
The 20-year-old "Give Your Heart A Break" singer - who has dated the former That 70s Show star on and off since 2010 - spent Valentine's Day with the 33-year-old actor at Takami Sushi & Robata Restaurant in downtown Los Angeles and cuddled throughout their meal. "They ordered almost everything on the menu, but they didn't touch it for at least an hour. They stared into each other's eyes the whole time," a source said.
The insider revealed the couple only began eating almost an hour after sitting down when they finished a "really intense conversation" and were "cuddling" throughout their romantic date.
The pair was spotted earlier in the evening "making out" at the grand opening of the new Topshop store in L.A.

Amber Rose has given birth to a boy.
The 29-year-old model and fiance Wiz Khalifa welcomed their "perfect" first child Sebastian Taylor Thomaz into the world on Thursday. Wiz, 25, tweeted, "Happy Birthday Sebastian 'The Bash' Taylor Thomaz!. Everyone welcome this perfect young man into the world."
Amber hinted she was close to her due date last week when she announced that she would not be online again until after their baby's arrival, as she wanted to focus on relaxing. Writing on her Twitter page, she said, "Hey Rosebuds & Rosestuds Muva won't be back on twitter until Wizbud is born I need 2 meditate & focus on our Lil boy Luv u talk soon - Muva (sic)."
She previously revealed that she was planning to give birth in a pool at home and wanted Wiz to be the first person to touch their child: "I don't want no medication. We take home birthing classes to teach us how to do it, and we're gonna have our midwife, and when the baby's head comes out, he's gonna be Dr. Wiz. He's gonna be the first person to touch the child. No doctors, no gloves."
Diane Lane and Josh Brolin have split up. The Perfect Storm actress and the American Gangster actor - who were married for over eight years - mutually called time on their union a few months ago.
A statement from their representatives reads, "Diane Lane and Josh Brolin have decided to end their marriage."
Josh, 45 and Diane, 48, didn't have any children together and the split is said to be amicable with no third party involvement. "It is very amicable. It's not ugly, it's just over," a source said.
This will be the second divorce for both celebrities. Diane was married to actor Christopher Lambert from 1988 to 1994, while Josh previously split from Alice Adair, with whom he has two kids, Trevor, 24, and Eden, 18.

Jessica Simpson reportedly plans to call her baby Ace. The Fashion Star mentor and her fiance Eric Johnson - who are already parents to nine-month-old daughter Maxwell Drew - are said to have told friends what they are going to call their impending new arrival, but haven't explained the inspiration behind the name.
"She's told people she's going to name the baby Ace!" a source said.
While the 32-year-old blonde is pregnant with her second child, she is still very focused on Maxwell and is astonished at some of the things she has mastered at such a young age. "Maxwell can whistle on cue at 9 months! Heck I'm still learning! This lil human impresses me everyday. (sic)" she wrote on Twitter.
Though Jessica and Eric, 33, haven't confirmed the reports of the baby's name, insiders correctly predicted their daughter's moniker some time before she was born.

The Justin Bieber murder plot phone call has been released.
Convicted criminal Dana Martin's conversation with a hit man has been made public in which the pair can be heard plotting to kidnap the 18-year-old singer last November in order to castrate and strangle him, with a $2,500 bounty on each of Justin's testicles.
The recording, obtained by KOAT 7 News in Albuquerque, was made from a Las Cruces prison last November - where Dana is serving two life sentences for raping and killing a 15-year-old girl - and he can be heard going over the plan to kidnap Bieber and his bodyguard with hit man Tanner Ruane as well as discussing former inmate Mark Staake, who was allegedly roped in to execute the murder.
Tanner - who is currently being investigated for conspiracy - says, "The way I work, dude, is I like to know as little as possible. [Mark]'s going to use one of the things you gave him to get him out of this, he's gonna go take care of it. We went and we bought some hedge clippers. You're gonna give me five large for each one I get."

Mario Lopez is set to become a father again. The X Factor host has revealed he and his wife Courtney Mazza - who tied the knot in December after almost five years of dating and are already parents to two-year-old daughter Gia Francesca - are expecting their second child at the end of the summer.
The Extra presenter opened up about the news on the entertainment show on Tuesday after his daughter appeared on screen with a sign reading, "I'm going to be a big sister," saying, "I am the happiest father in the world. We cannot wait to welcome baby Lopez number two into our lives."
The family celebrated the news with a surprise baby shower, featuring balloons and lots of gifts from Carousel Designs. Mario previously revealed that he was looking forward to having more children. Before getting married the 39-year-old star said, "We're working on that. Right after the wedding. We'll wait for the guests to leave and then we're getting right on that!"
