Anne Hathaway and Glee: Chris Colfer’s Dream Come True

It’s pretty hard to say no to a star when they’re holding a Golden Globe in their hand. Just ask Glee’s Chris Colfer.

Weeks ago, the man behind the Kurt told reporters that he’d like to have Anne Hathaway on the show -- and now, he’s getting his wish.

Hathway caught up to Glee writer/creator Ryan Murphy during Sunday’s Golden Globe celebration, and he’s confirmed that she will be appearing in at least one episode of the series. Previously, Colfer said Hathaway wanted to play his lesbian aunt.

We're convinced she'll nail it, but it's time to ask an important question: can she sing? Watch the video above to hear Murphy's comments.

Jane Lynch: Hosting SNL?


NBC hasn’t officially confirmed that will be hosting SNL, but Ryan Murphy managed to spill the beans at Tuesday’s Eat Pray Love premiere. Murphy is the co-creator and mouthpiece of Glee, which Lynch stars in as Sue Sylvester.

called to say, ‘Would you give us Jane [Lynch] for a week in October?’” Murphy told reporters. “We just don’t do that, but for Lorne Michaels, I said yes.” Sure, who wouldn’t?

Murphy sent a text to Jane Lynch right after the phone call, telling her she’ll be hosting the famous variety show. Lynch’s response? “What are you talking about?”

If the rumors pan out to be true, expect to see Jane on the October 9 broadcast of SNL.

Rumor Confirmed! Britney Spears to Appear on Glee

Britney SpearsAfter much speculation, we can finally confirm the rumor everyone wants to hear: Britney Spears will appear on Glee. It’s well-known that the series is planning a Spears tribute early in its second season, and now we know that the pop diva herself will be part of the event.

Glee co-creator and writer Ryan Murphy confirmed the rumor in a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest, saying she will “100 percent…be on the episode. She is going to join us for a couple of scenes.”

Just don’t expect the funny series to poke fun at Spears. Murphy said “We are handling Britney with kid gloves.”

Brit’s music will play during fantasy sequences. “ is pop culture, and I think she’s been through a lot.” Murphy said.
