Nicki Minaj Blames Target, Walmart Over Poor Album Sales

Nicki Minaj's 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded - the Re-UpWhen all else fails, blame your retailers.

Nicki Minaj was recently asked about why she thinks that the re-release of her Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded album (titled Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded - The Re-Up) didn't perform as well as its predecessor.

"It is hard to get the album because the stores basically said that the last few re-releases they had put out did not do well and they didn't want to take a chance. So, Target and Walmart is not selling the album. Target is actually my biggest retailer - they've always been my biggest retailer. They've sold the most Nicki Minaj albums ever, so, thank you, Target. But I wish you could've sold this one."

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Health & Beauty,

Justin Bieber is releasing a range of nail polishes.

The 16-year-old Canadian heartthrob is planning to launch the range - exclusively to Wal-Mart ahead of a further release in and Sears - in December, with colors inspired by his hit singles. Among the planned shades are “One Less Lonely Girl” (lavender), “Give Me The First Dance” (silver), “Step 2 the Beat of My Heart” (glitter) and “Me + Blue” (dark blue). A total of six colors will be released in December before a further eight in January.

The nail polish is the latest in a long line of Justin Bieber-themed products - the “Baby” singer already has a bedding range, dolls and toys. He is also one of the faces of spot cream Proactive alongside Jessica Simpson and .

Speaking about the acne-fighting product, Justin revealed he uses it to keep himself clean ahead of his busy work schedule: “I know that for a teenager, it doesn’t matter how many people are looking at you, you don’t want acne on your face. I’m in the limelight all the time. I’m constantly doing interviews, constantly doing photo shoots and, you know, I’m determined to keep myself clear. Using Proactiv will help that.”

Kinect price

Looks like anyone who was hoping that would sell for a somewhat reasonable price may be a bit disappointed. After Gamestop priced Kinect at $149, and then took it down, we figured it may have been just a placeholder error. However, today, we also have evidence of Amazon, Wal-Mart, and Best Buy all pricing the upcoming wireless gaming peripheral for the at the same $149 price point. Seriously, you can buy a brand new Xbox 360 Arcade console for that price today, so that is one expensive add-on. See for yourself:

Now we just play the waiting game for official word from Microsoft.

Wal-Mart, Radio Shack, Best Buy to sell iPhone 4 on June 24

iPhone 4 Wal-Mart

Looks like is looking to thin some of those long iPhone lines that have become a yearly summer tradition. It has just been announced that Wal-Mart will be selling the on June 24th, which is the day the phone goes on sale. In the past, Wal-Mart would sell iPhones well after the launch date, so this is a first for them. It’s smart, as there are way more Wal-Mart stores in the country than Apple stores.

In addition, Radio Shack has been telling customers that they would also be selling the new iPhone on launch day as well, bringing that store back into relevancy for the first time since 1992. Lastly, Best Buy has yet to officially announce launch day plans, but they did sell both the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS at launch, so this should be no different.

Of course, you’ll also be able to buy the iPhone 4 directly at an Apple Store as well as any AT&T store as well. That’s a lot of options, and that’s not even taking into account that you’ll be able to pre-order the iPhone 4 starting on June 15th so that it is shipped directly to you, thus avoiding lines altogether.

Wal-Mart slashes iPhone 3GS price to $97

Wal-Mart iPhone 3GS $97

So the iPhone 3G has been discontinued, and now Wal-Mart has gone and lowered the price of the iPhone 3GS down from $197 to $97—a full $100 drop. The change gives credence to the rumor that Apple will be dropping the price of the iPhone 3GS to $99 with two-year contract, and that the 3GS will take the place of the 3G as the entry-level iPhone device. As we stated previously, we thought it would behoove Apple to keep the 3G around as the free with contract phone, then use the 3GS as the $99 device, and finally use the as the flagship model. We think that would be a good price structure to take on Android, but hey, we aren’t Apple—let’s see where this all ends up.

In the meantime though, as enticing as a $97 iPhone 3GS might sound, just wait to see what gets announced at the WWDC 2010 keynote first, m’kay?

Quote of the Day: Miley Cyrus Started Plaid

Miley Cyrus models her line and poses with Max Azria

“We look into fashion designs very much in advance. We started the plaid shirts and the cheetah pants before people started seeing it [on runways]. When you first look at it as a designer, you think, ‘Okay, this is going to be a little crazy.’ But you don’t know what’s going to be in in a year like Max [Azria] does. Max looks at other designers, and you know it’s very advanced. He’s got the inside scoop.”

Miley Cyrus Brings ‘High Fashion’ to Middle America

Miley Cyrus is a fan of high fashionIn what can only turn out to be a coma-inducing interview in next month’s issue of Elle, Miley Cyrus talks about her “fashion line” for Wal-Mart:

“Oh my God, I’m so stoked! It’s a lot of peasanty, flowy tops, hippie and loose and sexy, like boho chill mixed with English-rocker-esque. Plaids, studs, rips, cool colors. The jeans are my favorite part of the entire line. Because, like, literally, this is going to good for, like, Middle America, and it will be great for kids that really want to be in fashion but they don’t have it available.”

After reading that remark, I greatly laud any journalist who has interviewed that girl. Kids who want to be in fashion but don’t have it available? It’s called thrift stores and the internet, Miley. But wait, there’s more!

“I would pay $500 for the jeans that we make for $20,” she said. “I’m really into high fashion.” I died a little inside when I read that. Christian Lacroix most likely put on his last couture show yesterday, and Miley Cyrus puts out a line for Wal-Mart and has the audacity to claim that she is really into high fashion. Will her egregious reign ever end?
