Toshiba’s JournE touch multimedia tablet

Toshiba's JournE touch tablet

showed off their JournE touch multimedia tablet at , and it definitely looks interesting. This device is 14mm thick and weighs about a pound.  It only has 1GB worth of built-in storage, and comes with a SD slot for expansion.  As you can see, there is a lot of application icons, almost akin to a giant iPhone.  That’s about all we know for now, as it will be available in Q4.

You can check out a video after the jump.

Philips GoGear Muse 16GB PMP

Posted by Mark Rollins Categories: Portable Audio / Video,

Philips GoGear Muse is fancy PMP

The GoGear Muse from Philips has some very interesting features including a 3-inch display, plus 16GB of internal storage space.  Its battery is good for about 25 hours worth of audio playing, and five hours of video playback.  As far as formats are concerned, the GoGear Muse can handle MP3, BMP, GIF, PNG, OGG, as well as Real Video and Real Audio formats. Cutting edge, we know. The GoGear Muse is planned to come to Singapore first for $244, after which point we’d hope to see it hit the States, although that is unlikely.

Heartbeats by Lady Gaga added to Beats by Dr. Dre line

Heartbeats by Lady Gaga

We’ve known for a while now that a edition of the headphone line was on the way (heck, the Beats Studio Edition appears in every single one of her music videos,) but we must admit, we didn’t know it would be it’s own standalone product! However, that is exactly what Monster Cable is giving us with the Heartbeats by Lady Gaga in-ear headphones. I’ve confirmed with Monster Cable that they aren’t just a rebranded version of the Beats by Dr. Dre Tour Edition, and they they have a sound and style all their own. Apparently, Lady Gaga helped with the design, and we can believe it, just by looking at the product. Other features include multiple eartips to suit all sizes of ear canal, a travel case, and a flat cable design that eliminates wire tangling.

The Heartbeats by Lady Gaga will hit stores in October, with prices ranging from $99 to $149.

LG working on 15-inch OLED HDTV

LG to sell 15-inch OLED HDTV

I first saw Sony’s 11-inch OLED XEL-1 at almost two years ago.  I couldn’t see myself paying so much ($2500) for such a tiny screen, even though it had, at the time, the best picture that I had ever seen for something only millimeters thin.

It would appear that is readying their own HDTV, this one being a 15-incher.  It will only be on sale in Korea, sometime in November.  As of now, there are no pricing details, so just take solace in the fact that it’ll fall into the OMGExpensive category.
