Woman Stalks Man She Met on Second Life
Think that Second Life is a safe haven for your kids? Thirty three year-old Kimberly Jernigan from North Carolina met a man, aged 52, on the site, but he broke off the relationship when they got together in person. “Think that Second Life is a safe haven for your kids?” Excuse me? Not unless your kids are actually adults! The main Second Life grid (where the people in this story met) is strictly for those 18 and up. Can we do a little research in the future, before playing the “ZOMG!!!11!! Won’t Anyone Think of teh CHILDERNZXZZ?” card?
Thanks.

Well, sure! But my point was that, since the Second Life Main Grid is for those 18 and up, no one *should* think that “Second Life is a safe haven for your kids”. That’s like starting a story with “Think the corner bar is a safe haven for your kids?”. Of course it isn’t; it’s not supposed to be!
