Little Mix to Collaborate with Nicki Minaj?

Little Mix Nicki Minaj

Little Mix wants to collaborate with Nicki Minaj.

The "Change Your Life" hitmakers - made up of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall - are keen for the 31-year-old rapper to feature on one of their future tracks. "We've been saying for ages that Nicki Minaj is the person we all want to record with," Jesy said. Jade added, "If we say it enough it may happen. We always envisage a rapper on our music."

Little Mix's second album, Salute, is already out on the shelves, but the band believe they can still re-work the collection to feature the American Idol coach. "We wanted to have collaborations on our new album but it didn't happen. It was like that with the Missy Elliot collaboration on the last one. We didn't know she was going to do it until after it was released," Jesy explained.

Although a collaboration is yet to be confirmed, a representative for Nicki said the singer is looking into teaming up with the girl group, which shot to fame on The X Factor in 2011 - next year. "Nicki is busy working on her third solo album right now, but she's always keen to maintain her chart presence [and] a Little Mix collab would be a perfect fit for next year," they said.
