Forget-Me-Not Panties
While not real, it is certainly an interesting use of technology. The concept behind Forget-Me-Not panties is that they have a built-in GPS, and can detect body temperature and heart rate. All of the data could be viewed and managed remotely, thus allowing you to see if your wife/daughter/mother is getting their freak on when they aren’t supposed to. Check out this “testimonial”:
When my daughter hit puberty I nearly had a heart attack. She started looking like a woman and suddenly she was wearing revealing clothing and staying out late with her friends. Rather than become an over-protective parent , I decided to try forget-me-not panties.
They work wonderfully. My wife and I bought our Sarah several pairs so we can watch her around the clock, and if we see her temperature rising too high, we intervene by calling her cellphone or just picking her up wherever she is.
This is one of the many sites taking part in the Contagious Media project.

I can see how these would be kind of useful, but if it’s made to prevent teenagers from “getting their freak on” why would they put it on the panties? Maybe I’ve been misinformed but the panties are usually off for that kind of thing

LOL! I was about to say the same thang! Aheeet! Who da hell screws with their clothes on?
secondly, why’d the father have the daughter in the first place? Do you really think the kid wont screw the living crap out of someone when they get older? Its human nature. But character is what keeps you in control.

Listen, I think the message is that you can monitor the heart rate, etc… but when the data goes *BLIP* and isn’t there anymore, you know she’s taken them off. The first time overzealous parents “call their cell phone” when the girl drops her pants to take a whiz, the kid is going to be highly suspicious. And seriously, how would you feel if you came home and your mom had thrown away all your boxers (guys, you know, or thongs for girls or whatever, UNDERWEAR) and replaced them with 10 pairs of the exact same kind? I’d be suspicious as hell. Also, how resilient can these things be? 100 washes, and your precious gps unit will be flooded out. Its retarded. No thanks :-D

Hahaha, I’m sure this will work well.
Hundreds of dollars for underwear—who’s going to buy this? Some random royal or a absurdly rich person that doesn’t trust his wife or numerous girlfriends?

did any one read the whole testimonial on their site?
“My only comment is it would be great to have a video camera, maybe you can work that into V.2. ” WHAT a camera in panties? That does not sound to good from a father.
