FreeiPods.com Is The Real Deal
When we introduced the FreeiPods.com story last week on Gear Live, many a reader emailed us telling us that it had to be a scam. Others were excited and wanted to join in, so we set up a thread on the Gear Live Boards dedicated to helping people earn free iPods. We now have word that Andrew B., one of our own, has in fact received his free 15 GB iPod from FreeiPods.com. Click the link to see the pictures.
Now for the proof:
What you see here is the box it shipped in.
He writes a note, thanking those who helped him earn referals.
The invoice, which indicates that Gratis Network paid for the product.
New 15 GB iPod.

I see a lot of “a friend from a board” or “somone my uncle’s dog knows” or whatever.
Yet I see way more “hey guys, come to my link!” than actual people saying it came in. at them making only $7 per AOL referal plus my combing of their terms.. I find it to be a misleading offer. Numbers don’t add up, and the terms prove that you have zero recourse.
I think there is a lot of baiting going on, sites like this have affiliates who pretend to be plain regular joes getting this stuff so they can stand to make a couple of bucks refering people. That is my experience. My board also has a thread on this.. 2 months later.. no one has yet to get an IPOD. Had at least 19 people complete the offer as illustrated(yet the find print petty much makes it impossible).

I just setup my account and actually I’m trying to figure out exactly how this thing works. After I sign up for one of these offers, I need 5 friends who need to sign up too? what is this pyramid thing that someone mentioned above? do they each need a set of 5 friends who have to sign up as well in order for me to get my ipod? or is it their concern since it will only matter for them getting their ipods?
also it seems like there are almost enough people here who can sign up for each others’ and we can each get out ipods.
