The Two Coreys: End of the Line?

After two short seasons, Sunday night’s finale seemed to toll a death knell for the A&E series The Two Coreys. Is it all really over? I see much more reality TV in store for this pair.
Season two of the show displayed a marked difference from the more lighthearted fun of the first, which often made Corey Haim’s antics seem childish but never truly harmful. The season that was marked with drama and squabbling ended in much the same way, though on a somewhat somber note. This ambiguous ending leaves much more to be said on the future of the two…assuming there is one.

Preview the Nasty Tension on The Two Coreys
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Reality, Cable, Video,
Last summer on The Two Coreys, the series hit a painfully awkward note when the subject of The Lost Boys came up. Corey Feldman had to let Corey Haim know that a sequel to the vampire flick was going to be made without him. (Since that announcement, things have changed.)
Come this weekend, Season 2 will once again reach some very dramatic moments. In the clip below, the friends (?) have a very heated confrontation about some deep dark secrets from their past.
If you want to see how this whole thing plays out, tune in this Sunday night @ 10pm on A&E. In the meantime, relive the moment when Haim finds out about Lost Boys 2 after the jump.

A&E Banks on 80s “It” Boys

The 1980s were a blur of Reagonomics, yuppie consumerism, and, of course, the two Coreys. Corey Haim and Corey Feldman became the “It” boys of the late 80s, their visages plastered all over young girls’ bedrooms soon after they appeared together in that classic vampire flick The Lost Boys. The Coreys became a huge sensation whether separate or together, and for several years it seemed the teen heartthrobs could do no wrong. In his career, Feldman has appeared in more than one hundred movies (seven of them with Haim). Then, the Coreys suffered the curse of young Hollywood: a decline into substance abuse, forays into rehab, and the decimation of once-promising careers. Such is the agony of being a child star. They’re both 35 now, and believe it or not, they’re back courtesy of A&E’s almost-reality TV.
