Dancing Controversy: Winner Announced Before Finale Ends
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Prime Time, Reality, ABC, Dancing With The Stars, Gossip,

Bristol Palin wasn’t crowned the next winner of Dancing With the Stars. But if she was paying attention to Twitter, she would have found out well before the season finale was over.
Midway through the broadcast, Interscope sent out a tweet that congratulated Jennifer Grey on her victory … before the show had announced it.
The tweet was deleted moments later (so you won’t find it now), but it definitely went out prior to the show’s big announcement.
Hmmm.

VIDEO: Teary Hasselbeck Apologizes to DWTS’ Erin Andrews

UPDATE: Erin Andrews says she’s never received that so-called apology from Hasselbeck.
Seeing Elisabeth Hasselbeck cry is something we’re all used to by now. (Remember that heated debate with Whoopi Goldberg on the use of the “N-word”?) But it’s not often that we see The View co-host cry over something she did.
While discussing the latest Dancing with the Stars events yesterday, the outspoken conservative felt the need to speak out about contestant Erin Andrews’ ballroom wardrobe. Elisabeth - who was for some reason shocked by the amount of skin the contestant had been showing lately (does she not watch the show on a regular basis?) - thought it would be appropriate to bring up the ESPN reporter’s stalking scandal.
“I mean, in some way if I’m [Michael David Barrett], I’m like, ‘Man! I just could’ve waited 12 weeks and seen this — a little bit less — without the prison time!’” Hasselbeck joked.

Lost Producers Not Aware of Bud Light Super Bowl Commercial
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, Sci-Fi/Horror, Sports, ABC, Commercials, Lost, Video,
Jay Leno and David Letterman’s Super Bowl commercial wasn’t the only spot yesterday to mock some television drama. ABC’s Lost also became the focus of one of Bud Light’s many ads.
Given the similarities between the actual show and the clip, you’d have thought executive producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof were somehow involved. Well, they weren’t—but that doesn’t mean they didn’t enjoy the commercial.

Will the White House Interfere with Lost’s Premiere?
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, Sci-Fi/Horror, ABC, Lost, Video,
UPDATE: It appears the White House will stay clear of February 2nd.
Note to all you Lost fans out there: If those folks inside the White House don’t play nicely, we may be forced to wait for our Season 6 premiere.
Although the networks have managed to plan out their schedules (for the most part) months in advance, organizers in D.C. have a bit more difficulty getting things pinned down. As of today, President Obama’s administration has slated either January 26 or February 2 as the day for Obama’s first State of the Union speech. Should they choose to go with the latter date, we probably won’t be going back to the island until February 9.
Are you as irked as a I am? If so, feel free to join the masses by tweeting with the hashtag #NoStateofUnionFeb2. In the meantime, get a recap of the first five seasons in approximately 8 minutes.

Next week, FOX will pay tribute to the King of Pop’s musical library. Now the network is planning to honor his contributions to dance.
Hours after Michael Jackson’s death, plans for a special So You Think You Can Dance were in the works. Based on a series of tweets started by Nigel Lythgoe, we may soon see an MJ-themed broadcast with numbers from Wade Robson (a former Jackson back-up dancer), Mia MIchaels…and former Janet Jackson-choreographer Paula Abdul.
