Based on the ratings from last night's premiere episode, fans of The Bachelor aren't particularly interested in seeing Brad Womack for a second time. But how would those same viewers feel if the gentleman in question was Perez Hilton?
On last night's broadcast of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the celebrity blogger got his own chance to look for love ... and an an opportunity to get close to host Chris Harrison.
I don't know about you -- but I would definitely be interested in watching this version of the aging show.

Brad Womack to Play The Bachelor Once Again
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Reality, ABC, Gossip,

He may have broken everyone’s hearts on the 11th season of The Bachelor, but that doesn’t mean Brad Womack is a bad guy … right? ABC hopes so hopes not, which is why they have re-booked the mustachioed man for the 15th installment of the reality series.
Womack, who famously left DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft roseless back in 2007, apparently thinks love can be found the reality-stunt way. “I don’t care if people call me an idiot or don’t believe those words coming out of my mouth,” Brad tells Ellen DeGeneres on Tuesday’s broadcast of her show.
“I truly believe that it can work. So here are 25 to 30 women that I never, ever would meet in regular life, and I’m clearly doing something wrong. I’m still single. So why not? I really do believe that this can work,” he adds.

Reality News: ‘The Bachelor’, ‘The Girls Next Door’
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Reality, ABC, Cable, The Bachelor, Gossip, Video,
For Season 12 of The Bachelor, ABC will be straying far from the blue-collar image they tried last fall. (Maybe a different type of guy will end up producing a different result?) Say goodbye to bar owner Brad Womack and say hello to “global financier” Matt Grant!
Last night on Dance War, the audience got their first glimpse of Grant, a British businessman. In his interview with Drew Lachey, the 27-year-old offered up a few choice chiches. In addition to calling the candidates “25 smoking women”, he said it was “ridiculously hard” to send someone home every week. Of course, the handsome guy never said why he needed help finding someone to begin with.

Reality News: ‘Moment of Truth’, ‘Apprentice’, ‘Bachelorette’, ‘Supernanny’

Now that The Moment of Truth has successfully breezed through its two-week trial run, the show is being rewarded with a nice bonus. FOX - apparently believing the reality show’s gimmick won’t tire quickly - has added on another 13 episodes to its initial 12-pack order. (I’m guessing it was the program’s stellar debut that instilled the network with such confidence.)
Although a list of potential seatwarmers dwindled after the show’s first two airings (seems the attention seekers weren’t too thrilled about what they had seen), other ballsy contestants will be stepping up. Production on the additional segments will begin on Feb. 11th.
Just when you think the Trumpster is down and out, he just keeps coming back for more.
Even though his ‘recruitment’ show once faced cancellation, it’s had a reversal of fortune and now been granted an extension. Impressive numbers for Celebrity Apprentice has made NBC think twice about letting Donald Trump and the reality staple go too soon. (No rush decisions should ever be made during a writers’ strike.) Come this time next year, we will be seeing a second round of stars vie for credibility and airtime.
Seriously, a boardroom full of D-listers is really the only thing that keeps viewers attracted to the show these days. It’s not like anyone really believes The Apprentice winners do anything for Trump’s organization anymore.

‘The Bachelor’ Finale Shocker
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Reality, ABC, The Bachelor, Gossip,
ABC’s The Bachelor this year tried to put a new spin on the sinking reality show with barman Brad Womack, a different sort of Bachelor for the series. And when you use a different sort of guy, you get a different sort of result.
In a season-ending shocker, the single guy opted not to give his rose away to either of the final two girls. Wait…what? After this colossal rejection, he didn’t even offer much of an explanation as to why he’s opting to remain single – though reality TV exposure no doubt plays a part in this odd decision.
Fans are left freaking out, and women are wondering why this handsome hottie doesn’t want to commit. Really, there’s some question as to why he doesn’t want to settle down with a girl he was paired up with on TV? Get serious – most of the men on the series probably never had any intention of walking down the aisle anyway.

A Whole New Type of Bachelor for ABC
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Prime Time, Reality, ABC, The Bachelor, Gossip, Ratings,
ABC has announced the newest Bachelor, the eleventh hunk to hand out roses. Born in Atlanta and raised in Texas, dark-haired Brad Womack is an entrepreneur – a blue-collar hunk on a show that has heretofore featured much more pedigreed studs. Thirty-four years old, Womack left Texas State University to work in oil fields around Texas, Louisiana, California, and North Dakota. He learned bartending and started to save money, with his brothers, to open his own bar at the age of twenty-eight. Today, Womack owns four bars in the Texas area. But evidently, he hasn’t been so lucky in love. Enter reality TV opportunities.
