Blago Joins Celebrity Apprentice Cast

NBC has revealed the fourteen stars who will make up the new Celebrity Apprentice cast. The show, scheduled for a March premiere, features a mix that includes a disgraced politician, a former comedian, even a TV chef.
Bret Michaels, Sharon Osbourne, Cyndi Lauper, Darryl Strawberry, Michael Johnson, Holly Robinson Peete, Goldberg, Carol Leifer, Sinbad, Summer Sanders, Maria Kanellis, Curtis Stone and Angel Selita Ebanks will be joined by former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich to compete for their chance to work for Donald Trump.
This will be Blago’s first foray into reality TV, but not for lack of trying. The politician was formerly scheduled to appear on another NBC series, I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here. Due to Blago’s legal troubles, he sent wife Patti to the Costa Rican jungle in his stead.

Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich appeared on The Daily Show last night to talk candidly with Jon Stewart about his public fall from grace…er, sort of. Actually, Blago mostly stuck to his carrot-on-a-stick “I’m innocent” story, wherein he is prevented from actually disclosing the evidence that will prove he did no wrong.

The last episode of the week for I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Here is reserved for eliminations. On Thursday, one competitor will be ousted - by virtue of your votes - from the wilds of Costa Rica.
Hosts Myleene Klass and Damien Fahey joking referred to Granolagate, which happened on Wednesday. Patti Blagojevich and Torrie Wilson competed to win a luxury reward. Among their prize items were four granola bars - one of which was taken and eaten by one Janice Dickinson. The supermodel not only lied about the food to the other campers but to us - even saying to the camera during her confessional that she didn’t know what happened to the bar.
