Rumors are circulating that one of American Idol’s Top 4 will cover a tune that’s already been a huge hit for FOX in the past: Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing.” We’re hearing that the Wednesday night version of the song will be “mind-blowing.” And, we know who’s singing it. American Idol 10: Top 5 Theme Revealed

The Top 5 week of American Idol will feature a Now and Then theme. Each contestant will sing a current song and a tune from the 1960s. Sounds like a good opportunity for the Idols to mix it up. Of course, it will also give reality TV watchers the chance to ooh and ahh at the baby photos that are also being included.

American Idol 10: Duets Scheduled for Performance Night

American Idol’s Top 6 will be singing duets on Wednesday night. The songs will be selected from Carole King’s song collection, an extensive list of hits that includes “It’s Too Late” and “I Feel the Earth Move.”

It will be the first time Idol’s Top 6 have performed duets during a competition night. In previous seasons, duets during performance rounds were reserved for the Top 4.

American Idol 10: Top 7 Theme Revealed

American Idol’s Top 7 will put this week’s elimination behind them and move forward -- and next week’s theme will help them to do it.

The Idols will be crooning Songs from the 21st Century, so they’ve got about 11 years’ worth of music to pick from. The list includes Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Cee Lo... and lots of other artists Glee has already covered.
