Blake Lively Talks Serena of Gossip Girl

Playing a super wealthy socialite on TV has both pros and cons, says Gossip Girl star Blake Lively.

Lively, who portrays Serena van der Woodsen, admits that when it comes to their closets, the two girls are strikingly similar: “I own half her wardrobe, so it’s far too similar to the way I dress.” Who could turn those clothes away!

On the other hand, Lively points out how crazy it is to portray the character at times: “I feel ridiculous at times with her, because I’m, you know, killing someone or marrying someone, but I look like me. I’m like, ‘Oh, this is absurd.’”

With that, she also added that she tends to feel her characters’ pain so much that it physically harms her. “I feel a lot. I get really bad stomachaches all the time. So I went to a doctor, and he said, ‘You’re a feeler.’ I take on people’s pain a little too much.” While I’m unsure as to whether that’s an act, I can say that it sounds like Lively takes method acting to a whole other level.

Lohans on the Small Screen

Capitalizing on the popularity of Lindsay Lohan, mom Dina and sis Ali will soon be starring in a reality show of their very own. The show, titled Living Lohan, will be part of the E! lineup this summer. The premise of the show is that fourteen-year-old Ali will try to become a superstar, just like her sister before her, with Dina acting as manager. Cody and Michael, the Lohan sons (aged eleven and twenty), will also appear, though they’ll not be as heavily featured as Dina and Ali.

Kelly Osbourne to Act at Cambridge Theater

She’s been a singer, a reality star, even a reality show host, and now Kelly Osbourne is going to try the theater on for size. The 22-year-old daughter of Ozzy will play Mama Morton for seven weeks at London’s Cambridge Theater, beginning this fall. Kelly’s famous father was recently released from Rose Medical Center in Denver after an outpatient procedure. Reportedly, the rock god is “doing well.” Reports say that Ozzy had a blood clot removed from his leg, a simple surgery that shouldn’t prevent him from cheering Kelly on as she takes to one of England’s most famous stages.
