Steve Carell-Could The Office survive without Steve Carell? The comedian recently told the BBC that the upcoming season will “probably be” his last year.

-Dexter fans can breathe a sigh of relief. A “fully recovered” Michael C. Hall is expected to return to work this summer after battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

-HBO has new date for you to mark on your calendar. Entourage and Hung will both premiere on June 27, two weeks after True Blood‘s debut.

-Could Matt LeBlanc use some Friends? Both Thomas Haden Church and Claire Forlani have dropped out of Episodes, LeBlanc’s new Showtime comedy. Church blames scheduling conflicts; Forlani’s reason is unknown.

-Love is in the air on CNN. Anchors John Roberts and Kyra Phillips were recently engaged. Roberts proposed last weekend during a game of golf.

Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globes will be returning to host the Golden Globes for the second year in a row next January.

The British comedian - who received mixed reviews for his performance earlier this year - has vowed to do his best to upset the producers.

“I suppose it is flattering, to be honest, and it was a surprise. I had so much fun last year,” he joked. “I’m going to go out all this time. I’m going to make sure they’re never going to invite me back. I can’t believe they invited me back after awful things I said. Let’s see how far I can take it this time.”

Audience members winced at last year’s awards when The Office creator joked about Mel Gibson’s previous alcohol problems and Sir Paul McCartney’s expensive divorce from Heather Mills.

However, President of the Golden Globes Philip Berk says he is delighted to see him return. “We are thrilled to have Ricky back as the host of the . His combination of wit, irreverence and spontaneity makes him the ideal host. He was fantastic last year, and he’ll be even better the second time around,” he said.

Next season’s broadcast will take place on January 16 on NBC.

I have to say - that David Letterman is one confusing guy. One minute, he’s playing nice and inviting you to be in his Super Bowl commercial. The next minute he’s publicly calling you a “boob” behind your back.

On last night’s broadcast, Dr. Phil McGraw quickly regretted bringing up the drama behind the late night wars. “I loved it. It was great fun,” Letterman replied enthusiastically. “I loved Jay summing the whole thing up, ‘Yeah, yeah, well [O’Brien and I] both got screwed.’ I said, ‘Now wait a minute, Jay. You both got screwed and yet you’re the only one who ended up with a show. How did you get screwed exactly?’”

When McGraw tried to come to Jay’s defense, David disagreed. “Believe me, he got everything he deserved,” Letterman insisted. “It was good fun and I couldn’t get enough of it and I wish it was still going on.”

Okay - full disclosure time.

I. Love. Gabourey. Sidibe. I think the Precious star is the funniest woman to come around in a long time. I want to be her best friend. I think she can do no wrong.

That said, I don’t think I’m biased in saying these new promos are the best spots I’ve seen in quite some time…if not ever.

Am I the only one hoping she even tops ‘s recent appearance?
