FOX’s decision to quickly replace Lone Star with veteran Lie to Me was validated in the ratings last night. Unfortunately, the move really didn’t make a difference in the overall rankings. ABC was still the winner in both the viewers and demos thanks to reality hit Dancing with the Stars.

New cast members Vanessa Bayer and Paul Brittain managed to get themselves noticed during last weekend’s broadcast.

In a skit featuring host-for-the-week Bryan Cranston, Bayer offered up “The Miley Cyrus Show,” which starred the teenager as an over-enthusiastic talk show host. While Bayer’s impersonation was a little over-the-top, the skit did give faithful viewers the chance to get a real taste of two of the show’s newest cast members.

The MunstersUPDATE: Find out what one former Munster has to say about the remake.

The minute we heard CBS was planning to redo Hawaii Five-0, we should have seen this coming. Yes, you guessed it: NBC is going to bring back The Munsters.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the network is envisioning a “ meets True Blood” type of series. (I’ll let you figure that one out.)

The (possible) good news? NBC has smartly recruited Bryan Fuller—the creator of —to help retool the 1960s comedy about a family of monsters. At this point, only a pilot has been ordered.

Word has it even (Pan’s Labyrinth) is even interested in doing something behind the scenes.

So what do you think of this project? Could it be enough to get NBC out of fourth place?

Zachary Quinto

Although he has a bright future ahead of him in the Star Trek movie franchise, is disappointed about one movie won’t be able to make.

Quinto, who rose to fame as Sylar in NBC’s former hit Heroes, admits he’s disappointed the series won’t be allowed one final chapter.

“It’s disappointing that there was such a lack of resolution,” Zachary told EW. “But unfortunately that’s just the nature of network television….Nothing really surprises me in terms of network and studio bureaucracy. It’s the way it goes.

“If it was in their best interest I’m sure they would have done it. And for whatever reason, they didn’t think it was. So that’s a bummer. But we have to just accept it and move on,” Quinto said.
