Vampire Diaries Desperate For Taylor Swift
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Drama, Prime Time, Sci-Fi/Horror, The CW, Gossip, News, Rumors,
With the kind of ratings she’s scoring, it’s no wonder that Vampire Diaries executive producer Kevin Williamson wants Taylor Swift on his show.
“I’m desperate to have [Swift] come play a vampire. Wouldn’t she make an amazing Kirsten Dunst circa Interview With the Vampire type? Oh my god, I cannot tell you how hard I’m trying to get her—I would kill to have her on the show!” Williamson said.
I’m not sure how her anti-vampire boyfriend would like that idea very much, but hey, he said he was desperate.
No deal has been penned thus far; Williamson fears that she’s “too big for Vampire Diaries now.” I can’t say that I disagree, considering all those awards she’s won. Then again, let’s face the facts here—Lindsay Lohan is too big for that show.

Ashlee Simpson Gets Naked in Upcoming Melrose Episode
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Drama, Prime Time, The CW, Gossip, Video,
Colin Egglesfield is spilling all the secrets now that he’s been ousted from Melrose Place - or, he just wants to make sure he gets plenty of exposure before he’s off the air. According to the actor who plays murder suspect Auggie Kirkpatrick, he and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz had to get practically naked to film one of their scenes together.
In the episode, the two are “both wearing half-loin clothes that they had to tape to us.” Tell me more! “There are very few clothes involved in the near future,” Egglesfield added.
According to an unnamed source - not Egglesfield - the pair will have two sex scenes in upcoming episodes. (Both actors will be leaving the series right around unlucky episode 13, so set your DVR).

- The New Adventures of Old Christine (7.6 million, 2.2/6) picked up 600,000; Gary Unmarried (7.7 million, 2.5/6) hit a season high demo.

Quote of the Day: Bill Clinton on Mad Men
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, Cable, Gossip,

“You ever watch that TV series Mad Men? If I keep watching this program, will I ever find a happy person? Great television. Good drama. But a lot of really painful reminders in that show about how black people were supposed to run the elevators… were supposed to ask permission before they get on an elevator. The way women were treated is appalling, and only occasionally funny to me.”
-Former President Bill Clinton speaking to a diverse crowd in Chicago about the 1960’s-set drama.

James Remar Spills Dexter Secrets
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Drama, Prime Time, Sci-Fi/Horror, Showtime, Gossip, News, Spoilers,

While Julie Benz keeps her lips sealed when it comes to spoilers on Showtime’s Dexter (her reaction to the spilled beans: “He said that?!”), her co-star James Remar doesn’t seem to share the same worries.
Remar spoke candidly of John Lithgow’s character, Trinity, vaguely explaining that there’s something more to him that we haven’t quite expected. Read on for the spoilers!

The novelty of aliens on Earth was bound to wear off sometime soon. After a spectacular debut just seven days ago, V fell 27% in the prime demos. Although that’s the largest Week 2 drop for any scripted show this season, the resulting number should still be pleasing to ABC.

- V (10.7 million, 3.8/10) lost 3.2 million.
- The Biggest Loser (9.7 million, 3.8/10) gained 700,000.
