NBC ‘Green Week’: An Opinion
Posted by David Onda Categories: Comedy, Drama, Games, Prime Time, Sci-Fi/Horror, Specials, NBC, ER, Heroes, My Name Is Earl, Scrubs, The Office, Editorial, Features,
Ok, I’m all for saving the world, cleaning up the air and preventing whatever horrible fate Al Gore has decided awaits us in the coming decades - but this NBC “Green Week” is absolutely awful. In a week that has seen this huge writer strike, it would seem to me that network television needs every spark it can possibly get. What did NBC deliver instead? The guy from Windtalkers (now on Law & Order: SVU) telling me to recycle a pizza box … before he almost gets blown up by the bomb inside.
Oh, but the tree-hugging horror doesn’t stop there. Follow me after the jump to take a look at some of the other cringe-inducing moments from “Green Week.”

Will Lindsay Lohan Appear on ‘Ugly Betty’?
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Prime Time, ABC, Gossip, Rumors,
Although she’s only been in America for a few months, Victoria Beckham has already managed to start a new celebrity trend: Ugly Betty appearances. After the Spice Girl’s stint on tonight’s show, fans can expect to see a cameo from Snoop Dogg this Dec. 13th. Now it’s being rumored Miss Lindsay Lohan may be soon guesting on three episodes as well.
While I really wouldn’t want a Lohan appearance to overshadow a great show, I would be willing to overlook my feelings for her in this once instance. Assuming the TV Guide buzz is true, Lindsay may be cast as a former high school classmate of Betty’s. She would also be the manager of a fast-food restaurant.
Now if that doesn’t scream Lindsay…..well, then it screams K-Fed. Either way, I’d be watching.

FOX Suffering Symptoms of Strike
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Comedy, Drama, Prime Time, Reality, FOX, 24, American Idol, House, News,
FOX is already making changes to their schedule, and we’re only three days into the writers strike. The intense drama 24 has been pulled from the schedule, as fewer than half the season’s 24 scripts have been written. But that’s not the only problem FOX is about to have with their programming. Big ratings-grabber House is about to run out of scripts, pushing the reality show Hell’s Kitchen into the cushy post-American Idol time slot in April. Two other FOX shows, the new Back to You and ‘Til Death, have also shut down for the season.

Achy Breaky Reality Show
Posted by Wendy Michaels Categories: Comedy, Kids, Music, Prime Time, Reality, Cable,
Who would’ve thought that “Achy Breaky Heart” singer and mullet wearer-extraordinaire, Billy Ray Cyrus, would ever make a comeback? With the starring role on the series Doc on PAX TV, a handful of guest appearances and now, most notably, a role on Hannah Montana, Cyrus is officially back. And he’s not just riding daughter Miley Cyrus’ coattails now. He’s taking his return to fame and running with it—with a new reality series, of course. Cyrus is working with CMT to develop a reality show that shows his life as a musician and dad. The show, titled Billy Ray Cyrus: Home at Last, doesn’t seem like it will be nearly as entertaining as Being Bobby Brown, but I’m sure he’ll tap into loads of fans on Country Music Television. Plus, viewers will get a behind-the-scenes look at daddy getting ready to tour and Miley/Hannah getting set to tour. The show will debut on November 24th at 9:30 p.m.
