Matthew Morrison played idealistic Will Schuester, who optimistically chooses to lead the school’s Glee Club. Jane Lynch plays Sue Sylvester, the wisecracking cheerleading coach who so far has been a highlight of every promotion. Her cheer squad, the Cheerios, are drilled like the finest military squadron under her watchful eyes and commanding voice. Emma (Jayme Mays) is the sappy, sweet staff member who’s got a crush on Will - who, perhaps unfortunately, is married to a woman obsessed with making crafts.
