McKinley High sounds like any school in America, and that’s exactly what aims to depict. The new series premieres Tuesday after American Idol, but after this sneak peek viewers must wait until November before enjoying more new episodes.

Matthew Morrison played idealistic Will Schuester, who optimistically chooses to lead the school’s Glee Club. Soprano Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) is the stand-out member in the Club, which is comprised mainly of school losers. Jane Lynch plays Sue Sylvester, the wisecracking cheerleading coach who so far has been a highlight of every promotion. Her cheer squad, the Cheerios, are drilled like the finest military squadron under her watchful eyes and commanding voice. Emma (Jayme Mays) is the sappy, sweet staff member who’s got a crush on Will - who, perhaps unfortunately, is married to a woman obsessed with making crafts.

The very polished, well-produced promotions FOX has been spewing all over the place have definitely whet the appetite for more…but will we still remember Glee by the time November rolls around?

Because, honestly, if we have to sit through four whole months of promotions we’ll never be able to stomach actually watching the show.
