There’s a long stretch of summer between us and the next new episode of Glee. Thankfully, co-creator Ryan Murphy is willing to share a few exciting tidbits from the upcoming Season 2. Who’s getting a new boyfriend? Which diva is getting a new rival? And where will the season finale take place? We’ve got all the info, so keep reading to get the latest spoilers…

“The Madonna episode was so popular, I think I’m gonna do two tribute episodes — one in the fall and one in the spring — and we’re figuring out who those artists are.” Sounds great! Which artists would you suggest for a Glee tribute episode?

Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer) will get a chance to experience romance in Season 2. “Kurt helps him deal with [his sexuality] and in the process they fall for each other.” Mercedes Jones (Amber Riley) might also be getting a love interest next season, but Rachel will get a new rival. A country singer (think: Carrie Underwood) will soon join the club to give the reigning diva a run for her vocals.

It all leads up to the big Season 2 finale, which “ends with Nationals in New York. I don’t know if [New Directions] will make it - we haven’t figured that out.” Or, they’re not letting it slip!
