By leaking a little bit of information, you get much bigger ratings. No network has mastered this so well as FOX. Around 8.2 million tuned in to see Will and Terri Schuester (Matthew Morrison, Jessalyn Gilsig) have it out Wednesday night’s Glee. 

Her pretend pregnancy was discovered and the resulting blowup was gut-wrenching. The sad scene was tempered with a high-tempo, fun rendition of “Jump!” that was full of mattress-bouncing frolicking. It was the show’s biggest audience of the season.

Even the major bombshell didn’t beat out holiday nostalgia, however - 10.7 million tuned into see Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer on CBS.
