The Shield's Michael Chiklis

When this year began, followers of were still uncertain when their FX series would return. Thankfully, they at least now know when it will end.

In an interview with TV Guide, CCH Pounder (Det. Claudette Wyms) teased that the bald one will be given a grand exit. “I’m a chicken when I watch The Shield. But I think it’s the greatest finale ever. This finale is what Vic Mackey deserves.” (Well, he deserves a lot of things. Could you be more specific?)

Meanwhile, (Vic Mackey) added that his actions might throw viewers for a loop. “You will not see this [storyline] coming, but looking back, it will make sense. Season 7 of The Shield kicks off for the last time on Tuesday, September 2nd.
