Based on the success of VH1’s I Love New York, they’re planning on doing it all over again. To me, this show is painful to watch, but I suppose there’s a certain level of entertainment. Tiffany “New York” Pollard ended the first season by selecting Patrick “Tango” Hunter. He proposed to her on the finale, but later rescinded the offer on the reunion special. Isn’t that convenient? If she’s not engaged, and now she’s heartbroken that her top choice dumped her… well she has no choice but to pick a new suitor on a new season. Clever! Add to that the rumors that she and her mother are both actresses… well, I guess that actually doesn’t have much of an impact on a reality show, really. The new twist this go around is that five of the contestants will be selected by fans at ilovenewyork2.com.
