Redding Yanked from Rockies

The Yankees have added some more depth to their system, as they signed free agent Tim Redding to a minor league contract. That’s right, the same Tim Redding who woke up as a member in the Colorado Rockies organization, was released outright and went to bed waiting for his name to be stitched onto the back of a Yankees uniform. It’s not the traditional way to see a player switch allegiances, but as long as he still has a job, Redding surely won’t complain.
