Tony Parker scored 32, dishing out 11 assists with 2 steals en route to a 101-98 San Antonio Spurs victory over the Sacramento Kings.

“We had a tough loss against the Lakers, so we needed this,” said Parker. “We got Utah next. The West is so hard that we need to get as high a seed as possible.”

The victory was a relief for the San Antonio Spurs, who hadn’t scored over 100 points in a game since the 1st of April. On the season the Spurs are now 55-26 in the tough Southwest division.

“It’s been the way we have lost lately, games have been getting away from us,” Spurs forward Ime Udoka said. “We’ve gone through some scoring droughts, so it was good to get over 100 points tonight.”

After the game Michael Finley (Who scored 19 points in this game) talked about the importance of the final game of the season against the Utah Jazz. The Jazz have a 55-27 record this season.

“Utah is the last game of the season and may be a team we meet in the first round of the playoffs,” Finley said. “We need to go out and play well and not take steps backward.”
