Xbox Live Diamond Program
We gotta hand it to Microsoft - these guys have been doing a great job trying to make their Xbox Live service about much more than just gaming. Forming a community can be tough, but it looks like they are on the right path. The latest method of infiltration by the Xbox team is the Xbox Live Diamond program. Basically, anyone who is an Xbox Live Gold subscriber (purchased in at least a 1-year increment) is eligible to sign up for free. In return, you get a card emblazoned with your Gamertag which will give you discounts in retail stores. Not too bad, as this was unexpected, and is a value add to an already stellar service.
