Epson Stylus Photo PX650 announced

Epson Stylus Photo PX650

One of the signs of the times when it comes to printers is that we no longer require a computer to make them work.  This is the case for the Stylus Photo PX650, a printer that is more for digital photographers rather than PC users.

The PX650 features PictBridge support, a memory card slot, for copying and scanning at 1,200 DPI resolution.  It also gives you a 2.5 inch LCD screen, so the user can crop and edit right at the printer.

The Epson Stylus Photo PX650 should be available sometime after September in the US for about $215.  It comes with a pack of photo paper, and the Claria Photographic Ink that the printer uses is supposed to last two hundred years.
