Romanian SweatshopA new documentary about sweatshops surprised us the other day to the point that we just had to share. In a CBC documentary entitled “Gamer Revolution,” it featured one such place in Romania that caters to video game freaks who want to level up about 50 stages but just don’t have the time.
Sites such as Gamer’s Loot not only sells video games but offers cyberplayers who will spend the necessary time to take you from serfdom to master. Power leveling can cost up to $80.00 and in return for this service, your designated player will earn £70 (~135.00) per month. We think that gamers who actually pay for this fall into the category of those who believe that their knockoff t-shirts from Wal-mart are made in the U.S.
