Malibal Offers Up Duo Core Desktop Replacement Notebooks

Malibal yesterday unveiled a new line of high performance Intel Core Duo desktop replacement notebooks. The Satori Series has a starting configuration price of $2,345 and looks to be available now.
The Satori Series besides having an on-board Intel Core Duo Processor up to 2.16GHz with 667 MHz System Bus, also has a NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX 512MB GPU tied in with a 17” 1920 x 1200 WUXGA LCD. The Satori laptops can also sport up to 2048 MB PC2-5300 (677MHz) DDR2 SDRAM memory.
Other features of the Satori Series from Malibal include space for up to two 120GB hard drives, a DVD±R/RW dual-layer multi-drive, full sized keyboard, FireWire and USB 2.0 ports, an integrated TV tuner with remote control and an internal 1.3 megapixel digital video camera.
