Insignia Amigo: Flash-based MP3 Player for Under $100

It’s not often that you can get a Flash-based MP3 player for less than $100 US. If that’s your benchmark, then check out the Insignia Amigo, which boasts 1GB of memory for that $99 USD. The OLED display is sharp and easy on the eyes and able to display images and album art, and the control buttons are large enough but not unwieldy. The device is actually not much larger than an iPod shuffle, which is saying something.
Audio functionality includes not only MP3s but also WMA, Audible files, and even the more obscure WMA-DRMs. Best of all, the battery lets you keep rocking out for 18 hours before you have to recharge.
Those wanting to carry on their entire song collection might be interested in the 2GB version, which doesn’t cost that much more ($129 USD).
