Gumstix Unwraps netstix 400-xmcf

Gumstix Inc., creators of the smallest computers on the planet, has announced the release of its Linux-based netstix 400-xmcf. The nestix boasts a 440 MHz Intel Processor with compact flash and 10/100 MBit Ethernet connectivity. At the teensy size of about 2 1/2” and 64 MB RAM, the netstix is available at the odd price of $206.50 or $186 each if you order 1,000 units or more. Included is a 4V wall adapter but you will have to purchase cables. Although gumstix likens its computer’s size to a stick of gum, we suggest that you keep it in your pocket instead of masticating it.
