Averatec Adds 17” AMD Dual Core Laptop

Averatec earlier this week expanded their 17” widescreen notebook line by adding their first ever dual-core processing laptop. The new AV7170-EC1 is priced at $1,149.99 and available exclusively at Costco stores nationwide.
The AV7170-EC1, besides AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core mobile technology and a 17-inch display, also features a SATA hard disk drive operating at 7,200RPM, 1GB DDR2 memory operating at 533MHz, a Nvidia GeForce integrated graphics card, black and silver styling, a 1-inch profile, advanced power management tools, integrated Gigabit Ethernet, a built-in dual-layer DVD/CD burner, an integrated 5-in-1 media card reader that supports xD, MS, MS PRO, MMC and SD memory card formats, three high-speed USB 2.0 ports and Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition.
