JVC RA-P30

It’s JVC’s turn to come up with a new, portable iPod audio system. The RA-P30 features an alarm clock, FM radio, stereo speakers with 3D surround sound, remote control, and AC adapter. The system, available in silver or black, can also run on AA batteries (not included) and is expected out in June in Japan. We suspect that this one, like the myriad of others we show you, will be accessible in other locales by the next holiday season.

For those of you who may not know either, the site offers you 2 free faxes a day with a maximum of 3 pages. You cut and paste the info or add a file by link and there you go. What’s the catch? A simple cover page with ad which doesn’t count as one of yours.

The site claims over 600,000 faxes have been sent in the last two years and we believe it. And if you fax a lot, their premium service will only set you back $1.99 each (payable by Paypal,) has no ad on the cover page, and you can have up to 15 pages.

Fairy GodfatherWowWee is back with useless desktop toys they named Chatterbots. iPhone 3G switch

All signs are pointing to a new launching in the next six weeks or so. The latest is this screenshot that is, supposedly, taken from the iPhone 2.0 Beta 5 firmware. Check it out - within the Network settings pane, you now have an Enable 3G toggle switch. It’s a way to put a little bit of power back into your hands as the user, what do you care about more, speed, or battery life? I personally would love a setting that disabled 3G when the realized I was connected to a WiFi hotspot.

In all seriousness, Apple needs to launch this thing already. The employees over at the Rumor Mill are working way too many overtime hours.
