Fossil has a watch out that’s perfect for everyone who enjoys something a little offbeat for a timepiece. It’s the Positive/Negative Display watch, which doesn’t read like a conventional wristwatch. Instead, it delivers typical slang for time telling in the form of “20 til 3” for 2:40, and “half past 11” for 11:30. For indicating AM the LCD display is shown with a negative background and for PM the background is positive.
Designed by postmodern architect Frank Gehry, the watch is available as shown with a titanium bezel and black croco leather band (exactly what kind of animal is a croco?). Other options include brown croco leather with a gold ion bezel and a black ion bezel with gray suede. No matter your choice of color and style, the watches are available for $150 USD.

Technology Is Wonderful - When It Works
Posted by John Goulden Categories: Smartphones, Editorial, Features, Internet, Misc. Tech,

As you may or may not be aware, a severe storm ripped through the Midwest and caused an as-of-yet untotaled amount of damage, as well as personal injury and loss of life. One such city, that in the past seemed immune to tornado-generating storms, is Springfield, Illinois, the state’s capital.
A pair of tornados ripped through the city late Sunday night, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. At one point, most of the city was without power, and there are still areas where electrical service has not been restored (my house being one of those.) Initially the lack of electricity didn’t appear to be a big deal till it became obvious that it was not coming back anytime soon.

A Video Introduction To Will Wright’s Spore
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Adventure, E3, PC, Strategy, Trailers,
Sometimes, people like their gaming experiences to go a bit deeper than the simple run-and-gun while shooting hookers mentality. This is why we have come to love the stuff that Will Wright puts out there. Case in point: Spore. This is one of the titles we look forward to getting our hands on most at E3. Be sure to watch the video above to see Will play through a few scenarios in a game that see you starting out as an amoeba, and traveling through an evolutionary adventure.

Which Titles Will Launch With Blu-Ray On May 23?
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: HDTV, Home Entertainment, Movies,
In just a little over two months, Blu-Ray drops on us all. The Samsung BD-P1000 is the hardware player of choice on May 23rd, but what titles will you be able to throw into that player? Here is the none-too-exciting line-up:
- Resident Evil Apocalypse
- XXX
- A Knight’s Tale
- 50 First Dates
- Hitch
- House of Flying Daggers
- The Fifth Element
- The Last Waltz
Not exactly a killer launch as far as quality title’s go - we are guessing that Sony wants to provide a mixture of eye candy and mass appeal. Still, nothing says “No need to adopt Blu-Ray at launch” like this movie selection.

While never having experienced the phenomenon myself, I hear that dogs like to get a hold of miscellaneous items with the intent to chew them to shreds. Of course, this would be particularly bad if Fido grabbed hold of an expensive gadget. Now, replace your iPod with an iPaw, and the internal squeaky toy keeps your dog at bay for hours on end (we would imagine.) The “device” features a tiny dog print where the click-wheel might be, and a gray (silver) back with a larger paw print. The iPaw is about 5-inches tall, and retails for $10.50.

Sony MSVR-A10 Memory Stick Video Recorder
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Handhelds, Home Entertainment, Portable Audio / Video,

Sony is finally starting to make it somewhat easily to get TV and DVD video onto our PSPs. They have just introduced their MSVR-A10 digital video recorder which records television, DVD, and whatever else you can connect to it’s composite and S-video inputs, and puts the content right onto a Memory Stick Pro Duo. Put the Memory Stick into your PSP, and you are good to go. No need to wait hours on end for last week’s Lost to finish downloading over BitTorrent. This one should hit retail in April at a price of $215 USD.

We will admit it - we are addicted to unlocking achievements on the Xbox 360. Except for when DOA4 taunts us for losing 10 straight in online play, but that is neither here nor there. The image above is a shot from Google CL2 Calender web application.
About CL2
CL2 makes it easy — even effortless — to keep track of all the events in your life and compare them to what your friends and family have going on in theirs. We’ve designed a calendar that works for you — helping you add events from email, friends, and other public calendars — so you don’t have to spend all your time maintaining your schedule. CL2 even helps you discover new events you might be interested in. We think it’s a great tool for managing your daily schedule, keeping track of what everyone in your family is doing, organizing events for a club or team, or creating public events that you can promote to the world.
Of course, this one is going to be tightly integrated with Gmail and Google Talk. The screenshots look smooth and familiar to anyone who has used any of Google applications. Do note that these shots were leaked, and may not necessarily reflect the final product, which he hear is nowhere near launch. Check the link below for more.
