George Michael Set to Retire?

George Michael has sparked rumours he's retiring after shutting down his website.
The "Careless Whisper" hitmaker has removed all content from georgemichael.com, including official merchandise, leaving fans worried about the star's health. The site's home page now features a closed red curtain but his representatives say there is, "Exciting news coming in 2014."
George, 50, suffered injuries after a near fatal car crash in May when he fell out the passenger seat of a Range Rover on a busy M1 motorway near St Albans, close to London. The star, who has also previously battled pneumonia, was airlifted to hospital - where he remained for two weeks - after suffering head injuries, cuts and bruises.
Despite his health problems, George signed a huge record deal with Universal Music last year but is yet to release a new album to follow his 2004 record Patience. He brought out a Greatest Hits album Twenty Five which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart in 2006 and hopes to record new music "very soon."

Britney Spears is thinking about retiring after she completes her Las Vegas residency.
The "Work B***h" hitmaker, who has just released her eighth studio album Britney Jean, has revealed she might give up music after her two-year stint at Planet Hollywood and wants to expand her brood.
"I might [retire], who knows... I may have two more kids and get married... I'd like to have more kids," she said in an interview with Mario Lopez for Extra.
The 32-year-old has been dating lawyer David Lucado for eight months after splitting from then fiance Jason Trawick and has two sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline, Sean Preston, eight, and seven-year-old Jayden James. The Saved By The Bell star wanted to know if Britney wants girls or more boys, but the singer said "as long as they're healthy," she doesn't mind: "I think it does kind of help with dating someone not in the business, I could kinda understand if you're dating someone in the business they'd understand what you're going through every day and stuff. I feel like the chemistry kinda [sic] speaks for itself when you date someone out of the industry."

Chris Brown appears to have revoked his intention to retire.
The "Beautiful People" singer said he was quitting music last month claiming people were too caught up with his private life to pay attention to his tracks, but the lure of the studio seems to have proved too great to keep him away for long. "One thing you can't do is make more songs than me. I'ma robot in da booth. Limiting your self is the worst thing u can do. #BEGREAT" he wrote on Twitter. "The party don't ever stop so the show must continue!"
Chris, 24, then retweeted a link to a new single he features on, "Show Me" by Los Angeles rapper Kid Ink.
The positive outlook comes a month after Chris said he was "tired of being famous" and wants to stop after his upcoming album X because he's fed up of still hitting the headlines for the domestic violence altercation he had with ex-girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009.

Morrissey to Retire in 2014?

Morrissey is planning to retire in 2014.
"The Last of the Famous International Playboys" singer has said he is planning to leave the music business in two years when he is 55.
"I am slightly shocked to have gone as far as I have. This is my 30th year, and I've aged a lot recently, which is bit distressing for me, as it must be for everyone. The body changes shape and there's nothing you can do about it," he said.
The singer started his career in 1982 as the singer of The Smiths, but after that band broke up in 1988 he forged a solo career, releasing nine studio albums to date.
Morrissey has recently been on tour in Asia and praised the rapturous reception he got from fans in Jakarta, Indonesia. "I have never in my life experienced a crowd such as that of Jakarta, who sang each song so loudly that their voices caught all of the onstage microphones and warped the sound into a mad bellow of love. Later, backstage, we were numbed by the joy that Jakarta had given us," he wrote in a blog post.

Rihanna Will Quit Music for Her Family

Rihanna will give up singing when she has children.
The "Where Have You Been?" hitmaker - who is currently single - admits she would like to have kids eventually and when she does she will likely turn her back on her career.
"Not just yet, though, that'll probably be when I'm kids-deep. And have other businesses in place where I don't have to run on tour all the time. That's things for the future I think about. It's definitely in the near future," she said when asked if there will be a time she will give up singing.
However, the singer may put her music career on the back burner in the near future as she recently starred in her first movie in action caper Battleship, and she admits plans are in place for more films to take up her time:
"We're going to start shooting a couple more movies starting right after Battleship comes out. One's a comedy. There's an action film that's in the works as well. And there's an animation. Everything's in stone but I don't like to talk about it until it's happening, until filming starts. Battleship was perfect for my first role. Battleship is big, but my role in Battleship isn't big."
