Christina Aguilera Performing on American Idol Finale

Christina Aguilera will appear on the finale of American Idol as she launches her comeback.

The singer is currently promoting her new album Bionic and will perform the first single from it, “Not Myself Tonight,” on May 26.

She is also scheduled to appear on a host of other TV shows including The Today Show and The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Adam Lambert, Susan Boyle Next Up on Oprah

Oprah’s parade of musical newsmakers isn’t over yet.

Last week, the talk show queen welcomed a visit from pop star Lady Gaga. Tomorrow, she’ll play host to two names quite familiar to the tabloids.

Adam Lambert, who caused a big stir after his controversial American Music Awards appearance, will address that kiss, talk about Simon Cowell’s American Idol departure and perform for the Chicago audience.

VIDEO: Lady Gaga’s Oprah Show Appearance

Lady Gaga may have been too sick to perform at Purdue University last night, but she appeared to be in fine form less than 24 hours later.

During today’s Oprah broadcast, the singer covered a wide range of topics including her distinctive wardrobe, her love of cooking and the disaster in Haiti. Gaga even mentioned Oprah and Gandhi in the same sentence and shed a few tears for the audience.

The sit-down followed a medley of songs which included “Monster,” “Bad Romance” and “Speechless.” You can see that performance after the jump.
