VIDEO: Longer Girl With the Dragon Tattoo Trailer

Behold, the 8-minute long, new trailer for David Fincher's The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.

While it serves as a more in-depth look at the plot for viewers who haven't seen the Swedish original, the new trailer also confirms for those who have seen the 2009 adaptation that Fincher isn't straying too far from the material. Additionally, it's always nice to get some extra footage of Rooney Mara being a general badass as Lisabeth Salander.

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo - which also stars Daniel Craig, Stellan Skarsgard, and Christopher Plummer - comes out in theaters on December 21.
