Vanessa Hudgens Excited for High School Spin-Off

Vanessa Hudgens is looking forward to seeing High School Musical spin-off Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure.
The 21-year-old star admits she would not be going back to the musical franchise for a long-term role, but would make a cameo in the Ashley Tisdale-led movie if asked.
“If she’s like, ‘Hey!’ I’d be like, ‘OK!’, Well, she’s my best, best friend. I don’t know. I’m stoked for her and it’s going to be awesome. Kids love Sharpay and I did love Sharpay too, her costumes and her clothes and everything. It’s so much fun, so I’m really glad she’s doing it.”
Discussing the possibility of her character Gabriella Montez making a comeback, Vanessa told MTV News, “I don’t think my character has as many fun costumes as she does. So it’s not worth it.”
Shooting on Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure is due to begin this summer with a premiere in 2011.

Yes, yes. You’ve probably already seen the High School Musical 3 trailer, posters and extra clips…but have you see the music video?
While there are no Zac/Vanessa duets in this clip, we do get Sharpay and Ryan belting their hearts out to “I Want It All.” (BTW - I think Ashley Tisdale looks 10x better with a lot less hair.)
