Vanilla Sky: Most Confusing Film Ever

Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz might want to think twice before reuniting for another film.
The stars of the box office disappointment Knight and Day are now being reminded of another title from their past.
According to a poll conducted by LoveFilm, 2001’s Vanilla Sky is considered the most confusing movie ever made. The surreal Cameron Crowe film - also starring Cruise’s ex-girlfriend Penelope Cruz - centered on a wealthy publishing heir (Cruise) who suffers from a series of strange hallucinations after a car accident.
David Lynch’s Mulholland Drive ranked second in the poll while Donnie Darko, directed by Richard Kelly, placed third.

Baz Luhrmann’s Moulin Rouge has been voted Best Film of the Decade in a poll conducted by LOVEFiLM.
The 2001 musical - which starred Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman - topped a survey of 150,000 movie fans, narrowly beating Batman epic The Dark Knight and British zombie spoof Shaun of the Dead.
Two movies from the Lord of the Rings franchise - Fellowship of the Ring (#4) and Return of the King (#6) - also made the list.

Daniel Craig Praised for His Torso

Daniel Craig has been voted Hollywood’s Hottest Torso.
The 41-year-old actor topped a Lovefilm.com poll for the scene in Casino Royale where James Bond emerges from the ocean wearing a pair of tiny blue swimming shorts. He won 34% of the vote, while Gerard Butler came second with 21% for his shirtless scenes as Spartan king Leonidas in 300. Brad Pitt’s sculpted chest and abdomen in Troy secured third place with 13% of the vote.
Sacha Baron Cohen came an unlikely fourth for his “mankini” scene in Borat, followed by Sean Connery in 1965 Bond adventure Thunderball and Leonardo DiCaprio in The Beach.

Couples With The Worst On-Screen Chemistry
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Lucasfilm Ltd., Casting, Lists,
Chemistry, schmemistry. If you know people are going to be watching your movie anyway—does it really matter? Whaddya say, George Lucas?
Film advertising company Pearl & Dean polled 3,000 British moviegoers to see which couples they felt had the worst on-screen chemistry. Based on the results, it’s hard to say whether or not those opinions had any affect on the eventual box office receipts. While I completely agree that Natalie Portman and Hayden Christensen fizzled as secret-lovers, I don’t know that the movie’s storyline (or final numbers) could have improved with a different twosome.
Take a look at the poll results and see what you think. Which couples would you add to this list? Three pairings that come to my mind: Julia Roberts/ Nick Nolte (I Love Trouble), Julia Roberts/ Brad Pitt (The Mexican) and Julia Roberts/ John Cusack (America’s Sweethearts).
- Natalie Portman & Hayden Christensen - Stars Wars: Episode II
- Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck - Gigli
- Keira Knightley & Orlando Bloom - Pirates of the Caribbean
- Madonna & Adriano Giannini - Swept Away
- Catherine Zeta-Jones & Sean Connery - Entrapment
- Andie MacDowell & Hugh Grant - Four Weddings and a Funeral
- Kate Beckinsale & Ben Affleck - Pearl Harbor
- Nicole Kidman & Tom Cruise - Eyes Wide Shut
- Jake Gyllenhaal & Heath Ledger - Brokeback Mountain
- Kate Winslet & Leonardo DiCaprio - Titanic
