Police Tasered Jake Gyllenhaal

Jake Gyllenhaal in 'End of Watch'Jake Gyllenhaal was tasered while researching his new movie.

The Brokeback Mountain actor plays the role of a policeman in End Of Watch and while out on a ride with the police, they asked if he wanted to feel what it was like to have the debilitating electrical current run through his body - although he regretted saying yes afterwards.

"I got tasered, which wasn't as funny at the time. The guys asked me if I wanted to feel what it was like I said, 'Yeah, f**k it.' They put a wire on my chest, the other one on my leg and let the current run through me. It was five seconds, but it was jarring."

Discussing his career, Jake admits he has been close to playing superheroes in a number of films previously, but now claims he is more focused on being a better actor rather than winning a particular part: "At a certain point, you realize there's always some more interesting, talented and ready to do a role than you are - and you won't get every role you for. All I want right now is to hone my skills and become a better actor, not dream about wearing a cape. But you never know."

Emma Watson Stalker Crashes ‘Noah’ Set

Emma WatsonWhether she's Hermione attending school at Hogwarts or her non-magical self on the set of Noah, Emma Watson has not had a good relationship with the woods.

While filming Darren Aronofsky's film adaptation of the biblical story in Long Island, NY, Watson "screamed in terror" when she ran into a man among the trees - a man whom she recognized from hanging around her home. The man tried to escape the set, but security managed to capture him and sent for the police, although he was let off with a warning for trespassing.

"It was really creepy. Emma was really shaken up and was given some time to compose herself," a source told The Sun.

According to the insider, the stalker run-in only adds to Watson's stress about filming the project: "The movie has been grueling anyway and this left a very sinister feeling hanging over the set."

The star of , and was detained early this morning in The Windy City after refusing to leave a Walgreens.  A security guard, believing to be drunk, told Shia to exit the store.  The Chicago Police Department was then asked to step in when the actor refused to cooperate.  (Apparently he’s not used to taking instruction from someone other than a director.)  LeBeouf - who was reportedly ‘very courteous and polite’ with authorities - posted bail after being detained for several hours.  He is scheduled to appear in court on November 28 for misdemeanor criminal trespassing.

Interestingly enough, the actor held off celebrating his 21st birthday last June because of his work on .  LeBeouf told Vanity Fair he wanted to finish the Indy project before taking a sip.  “People say, ‘What are you doing for your 21st birthday, Shia?’ And I’m like, ‘I’m making an Indiana Jones movie.’ What’s better than that?”  (The movie is currently in post-production, so it appears he may have been a man of his word.)

And while news of a young male star slipping up is hard to come by these days, I found today’s celeb arrest to be mildly disappointing.  Seriously—who hasn’t been kicked out of a store when they were 21?
