First Look: Seth Rogen is the Green Hornet

Give a slimmed-down Seth Rogen a media empire, high-tech toys, an Asian sidekick named Kato (Jay Chou) and a hot blonde secretary (Cameron Diaz) - and what do you get? The latest adaptation The Green Hornet.
In the Columbia Pictures film, Britt Reid (Rogen) gets a chance to play the superbad character who poses as villains in order to be the hero. The Michel Gondry-drected film also stars Oscar winner Christoph Waltz (Benjamin Chudnofsky) as the nemesis and Tom Wilkinson (Jack Reid) as Rogen’s father.

Getting Into Character: Jay Chou as The Green Hornet’s Kato

Take note: this could be what Halloween costumes look like next year.
The Green Hornet’s release date may have been pushed back to December 17, 2010, but production on the film is already underway.
The Michel Gondry project features Seth Rogen as Britt Reid, the crime-fighting newspaper publisher who first debuted in the 1930’s radio program. Meanwhile, Jay Chou (seen above) plays Kato, the sidekick role made famous by Bruce Lee in the 60’s. Nicolas Cage and Cameron Diaz co-star.
