Kristen Stewart Pulls Out of ‘On The Road’ Premiere

Kristen StewartKristen Stewart has reportedly pulled out of the London premiere of her new movie On The Road because she is too embarrassed to appear in public in the wake of her cheating scandal.

The 22-year-old actress was originally planning to walk the red carpet for the film version of Jack Kerouac's classic novel on August 16 - but with her co-star Tom Sturridge, a close friend of Robert Pattinson.

"Kristen won't be doing the red carpet for On The Road - she's too ashamed to show her face in public right now. After everything that has been said, and in light of the revelations that she cheated on Robert with director Rupert Sanders, she's running scared at the moment. There's also the dilemma of standing next to her co-star in the movie, Tom Sturridge. He's very close to Rob and Kristen thinks it would be awkward for her to promote the movie on the red carpet alongside him. Kristen is very proud of her work for On The Road, she grew up reading Kerouac novels and this is a production she always wanted to star in," an insider said.

Jason Statham Avoids Ex at GQ Awards

Jason Statham at the GQ Men of the Year AwardsFor someone who stars in action-packed films like Transporter and Death Race, it’s rather laughable that Jason Statham avoided ex-girlfriend Kelly Brook at an awards ceremony.

Statham, who presented the accolade for International Man to Mickey Rourke at the GQ Men of the Year Awards, reportedly wouldn’t take his place at his dinner table because Kelly was sitting five tables away.

The Hollywood action star only joined his fellow diners at London’s Royal Opera House after Kelly—who he split from in 2004—had presented a prize to British comic Michael McIntyre.

A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror, “Kelly was a huge part of Jason’s life, and clearly he still has feelings for her. Also she looked stunning and Jason was there with his girlfriend—he didn’t want the pair meeting. Rather than risk an awkward encounter, he didn’t sit down for dinner straight away. Instead a member of GQ’s staff took his place.”

At the after-party for the awards ceremony, Jason continued to keep his distance from Kelly, who is now dating rugby star Danny Cipriani. The source added, “It was a pretty awkward situation. Kelly’s name is a no-go with Jason’s friends—no reference was made to her being there all night. Fortunately, Kelly was oblivious to it all and was just having a laugh.”

Drew Barrymore’s Ex Drops Out of Her Film

Drew Barrymore and Justin Long

There’s a reason why they say you should never date a co-worker…

Nearly a month after breaking up with Drew Barrymore, Live Free or Die Hard‘s Justin Long has reportedly dropped out of his next film. The actor, who had been dating the free-spirited actress for about a year, was scheduled to star in Whip It!, Barrymore’s directorial debut.

According to E!, Long chose to back out of the movie shortly before shooting was scheduled to begin. The 30-year-old is supposedly still too “distraught” by the break-up to work under Barrymore. (Apparently some actors can’t separate their emotions from their work.) Unfortunately, distancing himself from the roller derby film won’t necessarily help Justin avoid Drew. The two still have to promote He’s Just Not That Into You later next year.
