Leonardo DiCaprio’s Friends Urging Him to Take a Break?

Leonardo DiCaprioLeonardo DiCaprio has reportedly "burned" himself out.

The Wolf of Wall Street star has been told to slow down by his friends as they fear his hectic work schedule is having a negative effect on his health and personal life. "Leo has been working like a demon over the past three years - and it's now starting to come back and haunt him. He's pretty burned out at the moment and suffering from insomnia from pushing himself so hard. Everybody is begging Leo to slow down but he's just very focused on making a lot of money right now -- to the exclusion of almost everything else," a source said.

However, it appears the 39-year-old actor has been investing his money wisely as he recently spent $10 million on a new four-bedroom apartment in New York. He also splashed out $8 million on an apartment adjacent to a $4 million home he already owns in the eco-friendly 2 River Terrace in Battery Park City last month. And in February, he spent $5.2 million on a six-bedroom mansion in Palm Springs, California.

"Shia had wanted Von Trier to put a camera on his penis while filming, so that audiences could have the full experience," a source told The New York Post.

However, the cheeky close-up would have been too much for the audience and his co-stars, so the idea was scrapped.

Meanwhile, it is believed the star's recent antics - including showing up to the film's premiere wearing a paper bag over his head and pulling his own tooth out to get into his role for Fury - could be costing him potential parts in upcoming movies. When asked if it was uncomfortable filming sex scenes for the movie, Shia let his co-star Stacy Martin answer first. After hesitating for a moment, the dishevelled-looking star, who was missing a bottom tooth, then quoted retired French soccer player Eric Cantona's famous words to answer unwanted media attention: "When the seagulls follow the trawler, it's because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Russell Crowe ‘Reeks’ on Noah Set

Russell Crowe as NoahRussell Crowe is refusing to wash on the set of his new movie.

The Oscar-winning actor is playing the title role in Darren Aronofsky's new movie Noah, and sources say he is shunning many of the modern world's inventions in order to get into character from the biblical times. This includes not showering and or using deodorant, which has not gone down well with the other members of the cast and crew.

"He's been experimenting with skipping showers, which is something he did on Gladiator as well, to get an appropriately gritty look. He has to look like a very old, very weather man for this movie but you don't want to be inhaling when he walks past. He reeks!" one source said.

Russell has also gained 15lbs for the role, but sources say it is not helping his personal hygiene. "All of this is combining to make a pot pourri of foulness, and everyone is counting down the days until the project is done!" the source added.

Simon Pegg Wants a Happy Set

Simon PeggSimon Pegg likes working on a happy set.

The A Fantastic Fear of Everything actor says he's learned over the years not to be a diva when it comes to work because it ruins the atmosphere for everyone else involved.

"It probably occurs with actors a little less. It's something that is expected of musicians, you know, the TV out of the window. With actors it manifests itself as disappearing into the trailer for hours at a time. I'm 42 now, I'm not some youngster believing my own hype, and I always enjoy working on a set where everyone's happy. I couldn't walk on set two hours late having refused to come out of my trailer, and feel the grips looking at me thinking: 'Who's that arsehole?' I'm not OK with that, but I can see how it happens," Simon said, speaking of outrageous behavior.
